A struggling actress heads to Japan after her declining career and nagging mother take a heavy toll on her. She gets lost in Saga Prefecture where she meets a Filipino who is unaware of her fame. She pleads with him to accompany her during her trip, and sensing her fear of being alone, he obliges. Feelings grow between them, leading the actress to face a dilemma on whether to return home and revive her career, or to stay with him and leave her life in the Philippines behind.
Amidst the silence and isolation, Hazel and Louie find comfort in each other as they both needed it at that certain point in their lives. But knowing how far apart their worlds are, they can only hold on to the belief that some encounters are special because of how fleeting they are.
