Based on the international anime sensation, Knights of the Zodiac brings the Saint Seiya saga to the big screen in live-action for the first time. Seiya (Mackenyu), a headstrong street teen, spends his time fighting for cash while he searches for his abducted sister. When one of his fights unwittingly taps into mystical powers he never knew he had, Seiya finds himself thrust into a world of warring saints, ancient magical training and a reincarnated goddess who needs his protection. If he's to survive, he will need to embrace his destiny and sacrifice everything to take his rightful place among the Knights of the Zodiac.

When a headstrong street orphan, Seiya, in search of his abducted sister unwittingly taps into hidden powers, he discovers he might be the only person alive who can protect a reincarnated goddess, sent to watch over humanity. Can he let his past go and embrace his destiny to become a Knight of the Zodiac?

Not everything needs to be 100 million budgetI loved this movie! Is it high budget, kinda. Are the effects good? They are passable at worst. All the jokes land, the choreography is pretty good, actors do well, and the writing is a good cheesy. Think of it as a early 2000’s movie. Better than most of the dribble we get today from Hollywood. I know it isn’t a glowing praise, but for 15, it’s worth it. I promise it’s a good time..The Angry ArmyScore: 4/5
