Great MovieThis movie was very entertaining and I believe it was one of Clonney's best. The music was refreshing (well I have to admit it gave me a greater love for blue grass). Great Spin-Off of "The Odyssey" by HomerMy english class read The Odyssey, written by Homer and translated by Robert Fagles, for the first month or two of school and wrote around 5-10 essays on it, and then we watched this movie for a week. I actually loved this movie for a school movie. But still, I love seeing an actor as famous as George Clooney in a movie that was made as a representation for a famous and historical epic/book. We ahd to make a list of metaphors and comparisons for the epic and movie, and there tons and tons of similarities between the two. It's quite interesting..AerosteelScore: 5/5

Brilliant and beautiful.Another wonderful one from the brilliant Coen brothers. Everything in this movie is amazing -- the choreography, the art direction, the dialogue, the acting -- not to mention T. Bone Burnett's beautiful and entertaining soundtrack. This is (and has been ever since it came out) one of my favourite movies of all time. Buy it. Watch it. Now.

Dansk George Clooney spiller Everett Ulysses McGill, som har lokket to af sine medstraffefanger til at flygte sammen med ham ved at love at dele udbyttet fra sit sidste kup med dem. Det bliver en begivenhedsrig rejse gennem 30’ernes USA, hvor fattigdom og racisme hærger. Man kan dog langtfra kalde O Brother, Where Art Thou? for en nedslående film. For det første er de tre tumper på flugt ustyrligt morsomme. Især Clooney er ubetalelig i en rolle, hvor han spiller mod sit normale image og dermed er en herlig parodi på både sig selv og 30’er-filmenes slikkede førsteelskere med pomade i håret og et velplejet moustache. Dernæst er Coen-brødrenes manuskripter altid et veritabelt overflødighedshorn af underfundigt vid, og sidst, men bestemt ikke mindst, er O Brother, Where Art Thou? krydret med en flok skønne sange fra perioden og markerer altså Brødrene Coens debut i musical-genren. Efter min ydmyge mening en fuldendt triumf, og en klokkeklar anbefaling skal der lyde herfra.
