Still very niceWell here i am again. but this time i bought it. i have watched this movie from theatre to video stores to Itunes and what not a total of about 7 times. now number 8 i bought it. might as well save myself some money i know i am gonna wanna watch it again. And yes i am a guy. I know we are not supposed to be Romantics. But Romance is a two way Street with out us Being it there would be no romance. Some girls don't like that in men. I really don't care if they did or not. I am gonna be me and no one tells me who to be. and Romance movies this good will always hold a place in my heart..... Plus it doesn't hurt that i think Meg Ryan is UBAR hot. if your have not seen this movie I suggest that if you feel to manly to rent it or buy it. get a girlfriend and clam you rented it for her. More Hanks and Ryan magic!This is probley one of my favorite films of all time, so Meg, so Tom, so New York! The chemistry is back between these two as they start out as rivals in the battle of Big Corporate man meets small business lady...who is right? Its a fun trip back to when we had dial up internet and you heard that long screetch when accessing the internet, but besides that Greg Kinnear and Parker Posey are great supporting roles as the significant other to the main characters. I love the way this movie plays though the seasons in New York and offers up some food for thought about small business, judging a book by its cover, and love! You will Love this movie!.Score: 5/5

A Hard-To-Resist Sort of MovieWhenever it's on, it's hard to miss this film because it's always on cable television. It's a cute, though somewhat unrealistic movie. It reflects upon the story of a young woman, who owns a children's bookstore who falls for a man over the internet, in which is actually the rival bookstore owner of a store around the corner from her. Meg Ryan's character basically has a secret internet relationship with Tom Hank's character, though the two have never met, or at least they believe they haven't met. Really, it's a cute movie, though very much a chick flick. I highly recommend it though..Score: 4/5
Naïve Love StoryI saw this movie at the theatres in early 1999 - I thought it was ok. Highlights are the scenes between Hanks and Ryan, at the coffee shop and at her apartment. Overall, a naive movie for who blindly believes in romantic stories..Score: 3/5

A favorite!I will watch this romantic, comedy again and again. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan work so well together in this movie. Greg Kinnear is a welcome addition and Parker Posey adds a zing to it. The movie is full of warmth and character. It is charming to see how the animosity between the two characters melts away into friendship and then love. LOVE THIS MOVIE!I love this movie. I've seen it so many times and it never gets old. I saw it for the first time last year with my mom and I expected to hate it since I usually don't like old movies but I loved this one.
