If The Godfather was set in the art world...This film is a fresh, intriguing and infuriating look not just at how a man's art collection is taken away from him, but at the ruthlessness of government agencies and not-for-profit foundations alike. It's beautifully shot (the director is also the cinematographer; he has a GREAT eye) and moves like any good, taut Hollywood thriller. When I first saw "The Art of the Steal" I knew I had to own it.
