The story: when an aspiring stand-up fails to express his true feelings about his girlfriend and his stalled career, his anxiety comes out in increasingly funny and dangerous sleepwalking incidents. Got SleepyAbout 10 minutes into the movie, I realized that I was just staring at the screen, holding my head up with my hand that was propped up with my elbow on the table. I was about to fall asleep with my mouth open. That's when I realized that I just had to write a review and tell you all about my sleeping because I think that my story is just about as boring as this movie..Score: 2/5

I was unfamiliar with Mike until this movie....now I might just be a little in love with him! Great writing and acting (or re-enacting). Fantastic, hilarious, couldn't stop laughing!I have always been a fan of Mike Birbiglia's stand up, and when I heard he was making an independent film I immediately looked up the closest screening. In a small theater in Cleveland I saw this film and couldn't stop laughing from the beginning until the end. If you are used to his stand up, you will recognize some of his stuff in the movie, but the story behind it all and how he came to be the comedian he is now is so much more interesting! And the best part is, its a true story! I loved this movie so much that I eventually rented it in demand to show some friends of mine. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, loved every second of it! Great MovieI've consumed every version of Sleepwalk with Me and Mike did a great job translating it into a movie. As someone that has gone through the type of relationship that Mike was in, I can tell you its incredibly relatable. It's a movie about finding yourself and realizing the one that you may be with may not be the right person for you and the heartbreak that comes with that realization. This movie is heartbreaking, yet uplifting at the same time..Score: 5/5
Must see!I saw this with a friend of mine, having read his book, and heard his standup. I used to listen to his story about the jackal when I got a migraine to make me laugh. I was worried it wouldn't hold up to the stories, but I was so wrong!! This movie is fantastic! Birbiglia's brilliant comedy translates into the movie easily, and gives some stories even i hadn't heard yet!! Must see movie!!.Score: 5/5

SuperbMike Birbiglia is truly America's best "storyteller comic" -- and what has made his comedy so spot-on funny is his clever observation of the people around him. Once of his standup routines became his first book, "Sleepwalk with me", which is now turned into a superb film -- this isn't funny haha gafaw stuff -- this is funny, hits you in the gut dead-on observation stuff -- you'll find yourself laughing in spite of yourself. Last year I got a copy of his book for all my friends. This year, I am gifting copies of Mike's movie to my friends. Highly Recommended..Score: 5/5
I love Mike, but avoid the movie - stick to the stand-upBirbigs's story is amazingly funny and humane, when told on stage, but on screen it feels artificial and cliched - with all the glum character, including (especially) himself. Not greatI'm a big fan of This American Life, and think Mike Birbiglia's contributions to that show are exceptional. This film didn't quite reach that level. It is heartfelt, and Mike is likeable, but the story is lacklustre. I hope this team gives it another go, but you wouldn't miss much by giving this a pass..Score: 2/5
