Stargate Atlantis, Season 4 Release Date and Synopsis

Stargate Atlantis returns for an action-packed fourth season with the team welcoming new members and battling enemies new and old. Following the dramatic finale of season three, the courageous Lt. Col. John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) and the brilliant Dr. Rodney McKay (David Hewlett) and the rest of the team is working together to save their leader, Elizabeth Weir (Torri Higginson). The team must find a new home for the city and defend it against the continuing threat of the Wraith and the Replicators. Season 4 also sees Lt. Col. Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping) and head of medicine Jennifer Keller (Jewel Staite) join the Atlantis expedition. While Ronon (Jason Momoa) is confronted by his past, Teyla (Teachel Luttrell) is forced to question her role and her people's future. Together, the Atlantis team must confront its standing enemies, forge new alliances, and delve deeper into discovering the mysteries of the Pegasus Galaxy.

GREAT SERIES!!!I truly love Stargate Atlantis, as well as the rest of the Stargate family. I was happy to get all my episodes from the fourth season with very little problems, but my question is, where is the fifth season?! This series holds much excitement and action for the scifi fan. Season four's Be all my sins remember'd was a great episode and it left the upcoming fifth season for room to grow. I seriously hope that iTunes brings us season five for purchase, and soon!.Score: 5/5

The best series on tvStargate Atlantis season 4 was awesome there are a lot of huge cliff hanger moments that kept you on the edge of your seat There are a lot of moments were things seem impossible for the atlantis team ,but they get throught it and save the day. I recomend purchasing this season 100% and I also recommend watching the earlier seasons of stargate because those are really good to, Stargate Atlantis is my favorite show off all time.Score: 5/5

Great seasonPeople who criticize this season are wrong. Some people just want the same people and the same story. Yes the could have bean more imaginative and stop using the wraith and the replicators but it's still good. This is not Shakespeare but its not sharknato either. Awesome!Stargate Atlantis was a bit of a stretch to get into the first season, but since then it's only gotten better each season. Plus I love the Canadian references... go McKay! Definitely this is a series to get your hands on..Score: 4/5

The best of AtlantisThis is the best season of Stargate Atlantis in my opinion, not to say the rest are not definatly worth the buy. It has the best story lines, with the replicators against the wraith being echoed through out the entire series leading up to its epic finale, which gives to this day one of my personal favorite space battles ever..Score: 5/5

Do not bother with this!!What a disapointment the episodes did not download in the right order,some 4-5 did not download at all.Meaning that they were watched out of sequence, unknown to me as I put them on my ipod as they were available.Also I bought the entire season, "stupid me". Once inside the Wraith weapons facility the two teams split up and Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) and his team come under fire from the Wraith. Ronon escapes but Sheppard and company are captured. The Wraith force McKay (David Hewlett) to make changes to the Replicator base code using an actual Replicator the Wraith have imprisoned in the facility. Ronon and Carter mount a rescue operation and in the end Ronon learns the truth about his old friends' new loyalties.

Meanwhile McKay (David Hewlett) works on a widespread distribution method but is unable to complete it before he too succumbs to the virus. When McKay wakes up he is strapped to his desk in front of his console with no idea who he is or what is going on. Their chivalry is challenged upon meeting Harmony a thirteen year old child with high expectations of her protectors. Disheartened Sheppard and McKay nonetheless proceed with their mission unaware that she has enemies and character flaws yet to be dealt with.

Sheppard's worst fears are realized when she leads them to a high tech lab and reveals that she and her partner have been successful in creating a human form Replicator - a Replicator now loose somewhere in the city who must be recaptured at all cost.

Realizing that they have fallen into a section of an old Genii mining facility they begin to search for a way out. But every attempt to escape the confines of the chamber seems to put them in further jeopardy underscored by the constant tremors that shake their prison with ever greater force.

Mr. Coolidge is the newest member of the IOA and openly distrustful of alien participation in any facet of the Stargate program.  Despite his bias the IOA has entrusted him with interviewing Teyla Emmagan (Rachel Luttrell) and Ronan Dex (Jason Momoa) about their suitability to continue as members of the Atlantis expedition. This does not bode well for Ronan who is next on the list to travel to Earth for questioning. Colonel Carter (Amanda Tapping) concerned that Ronan's temper will explode under intense cross-examination asks an old friend to travel to Atlantis to serve as his mentor - Teal'c of the Jaffa. But Ronan insulted by the implication that he can't handle himself makes no effort to befriend Teal'c and their stay on the Midway station en route to Earth does little to improve the situation. Unbeknownst to anyone a plan by the Wraith to invade the Midway station is about to be initiated and an interview with Mr. Coolidge will be the very least of their problems.

Further investigation reveals that not only has the city been completely abandoned its systems are all dead and instead of ocean is now surrounded by rolling sand dunes as far as the eye can see. A significantly older looking McKay appears - a hologram with devastating news to relay. A freak anomaly has sent Sheppard over forty thousand years into the future and everyone he has ever known is long dead. But McKay has a risky plan to return Sheppard to the past and reverse a future that went horribly wrong.

La cité est fortement endommagée et toujours à la dérive dans l'espace. Le Docteur Weir est blessée et ses jours sont maintenant comptés. Rodney réactive les nanites endormies dans le corps d'Elisabeth et cette dernière accompagne Sheppard pour récupérer un E2PZ sur la planète des Asurans afin de pouvoir sauver la Cité et ses occupants. Mais Elisabeth est faite prisonnière après que McKay a reprogrammé les Réplicateurs pour qu'ils s'attaquent de nouveau aux Wraiths. Pour remplacer Elisabeth, le Colonel Samantha Carter est désignée et elle devient la nouvelle chef de l'expédition. Par la suite, les Asurans deviennent une plus grande menace pour les peuples de Pégase que les Wraiths car depuis que McKay les a reprogrammé pour qu'ils s'attaquent aux Wraiths, les Asurans s'attaquent directement à leur nourriture, c'est-à-dire : le peuple de Pégase. Les réplicateurs et leur planète sont détruits avec l'aide de plusieurs peuples, notamment les Wraiths, qui apportent leur aide à Atlantis. 4. Évad
A negyedik évad elején Atlantisz sikeresen megmenekül a replikátoroktól. A város egy hasonló, hatalmas óceánokkal borított bolygón talál menedéket, mint Lantea. Visszatérve saját idejébe, mentőakciót indítanak Teyla megmentésére, de csapdába sétálnak, és ott rekednek Michael összeomlott bázisának romjai között.
