In Season 1, Jason Gideon leads the BAU team along with fellow profilers Aaron Hotchner, Elle Greenway, Derek Morgan, and genius-geek Spencer Reid. Their task is to establish psychological profiles of criminals and think as they do in order to solve heinous crimes. Some of the more memorable cases during Season 1 include the "Footpath Killer," the "Tommy Killer," an LDSK (Long-Distance Serial Killer), and a "Son of Sam" copycat killer.

AWESOME SHOW!!I just recently got hooked on this show about 2 months ago. I've bought seasons 1,2 and 3 and have watched them all! It's a great show! Some of the bestSeason one has some of the better episode of criminal minds, which is a brilliant masterpiece in itself. However the down fall two the first two seasons is the character elle, and a little disappointed in the lack of each agents life, this is definitely a show on the must get list!!.Score: 4/5
Problem is Apple/iTunes, not the showThe show is AWESOME! My problem is with Apple and iTunes. I purchased the entire Season and downloaded it. When played back on either the iTunes player or on my iPod Touch 4, the audio and video are out of sync on every episode I've tried to watch so far. And apparently Apple won't provide a venue for my complaint or offer to help resolve it unless I first pay for the opportunity to file an incident report. That was $30 in the dumper...great...thanks, Apple. Last time I ever purchase iTunes video...I'll go back to acquiring iPod video content from other sources..Score: 1/5

Extreme aggressor "pilot"I bought this episode because I absolutely loved the intro leading up to a great first episode. Unfortunately the music they used for television and the music in the episode I bought are totally different, which for me changes the whole dynamics of the suspense that I got when I first saw it on television. The song was "penitentiary" by citizen cope and it was perfect for the intro, gave me goosebumps! I guess because of copyrights or some nonsense they put some cheesy "suspenseful" instrumental crap in its place. Totally ruined the whole episode for me..Score: 3/5
