CMT kicks off its fall lineup with the eighth season of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team. The stakes are higher than ever, as the series will showcase the Lone Star State’s most iconic group of women taking on more challenging dance routines and facing incredibly talented candidates while navigating all the drama that comes with competition. Rookies have their work cut out for them as an unprecedented 32 veterans return, making this the most competitive season ever. Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Director Kelli McGonagill Finglass and Choreographer Judy Trammell return to make or break the dreams of these DCC hopefuls. The series follows the ladies throughout rigorous auditions, training camp, the powerhouse technical coaching of former DCC Kitty Carter, the demanding expectations of fitness trainer, Jay Johnson and rehearsals for the first performance at the enviable Cowboys Stadium.

Love the show, hate how slow iTunes is to make it availableEntering its 8th season, this show clearly is a fan favorite. The talent, work ethic, charm, and determination of the DCCs and training camp hopefuls show that there is much more to being a DCC than good looks. Kelly and Judy are always fun, in part because they are so honest, in part because they are so stylish, and always because they are accomplished women with a vision who can lead their team to be the best in the industry. The first two episodes are great, but, even though I have purchased the season here, as usual I have had to watch this season's episodes first online because iTunes TAKES DAYS TO UPLOAD THE NEW EPISODES. New episodes are supposed to be available by early morning the following day, not 48+ hours later. So happy this show is back, but disappointed that iTunes has not improved the way it delivers on it..Score: 5/5

Least Favorite Season so FarUsually this show is one of my favorites, but this season all of the harping about non existent weight issues really annoyed me. I also don't think that they should have cut that girl in episode 6 just for speaking her mind..Score: 3/5

Episode upload is consistently horrifically late but show itself is greatWhere is episode 6? It is now the Thursday after the Friday it aired - 6 days and still no episode! I don't know if the problem is CMT or iTunes but this is ridiculous. You are ruining our enjoyment of this marvelous show. It happens week after week. Why buy a season pass to be treated so shoddily? Like others: Love the show, wish iTunes delivered it fasterAttractive and committed young women, caring and professional mentors, and an internationally recognized brand: It all adds up to a reality competition show that is always entertaining to watch. But, as others have said, if you have a Season Pass, you won't get new Friday-night episodes until some time on Sunday. And, often, I get the episode "extra" (usually 30 seconds or so of inconsequential material that easily could have been folded into the main episode) before I've gotten the actual episode it's supplementing. Some other reviewers have suggested that all TV episodes are supposed to be posted within 24 hours of airing. This is not true. According to Apple's own help file for the iTunes Store: "Many shows are available for download and purchase the day after they air; some shows may not be available for a few days." This is just a guess, but I think the timeliness of the downloads may simply be based on a show's popularity. And, admittedly, "Making the Team" isn't really in the same ballpark as, say, a "Breaking Bad" episode would have been..Score: 4/5
