Great series, Very poor editing of episodesI absolutely love ER, it was (and still is) one of the best medical dramas that has ever been on television. I bought this iTunes complete series box set because it was HD and previously I have only had the series on DVD, and because 1080p HD picture quality is vastly superior to DVD and the box set was down in price to just £59.99, I thought "why not!" and treated myself. If I had paid the previous price of £149.99 I would not have been happy and frankly, I'm not all that happy having paid £59.99 for this box set. Some of the editing of these episodes is shocking. On numerous episodes you'll have a "fade to black" at the end of an act and that fade to black lasts over 20 seconds before the next act starts. On some others, that fade to black lasts over 40 seconds at the end of the episode. There clearly was very little care or attention put into compiling this box set by Warner Bros and sadly that seems to be becoming a bit of a theme with a lot of the box sets on iTunes. I'd happily give this box set 5 stars if the editing was good. I don't really understand why it is so poor, you never get poor editing on DVD box sets, so there really is no excuse for poor editing on downloadable box sets..Score: 3/5
