Loved it.I loved this movie, sure it was a bit creepy and weird at times but it's coming from Tim Burton. The message is spot on. The story is creative and interesting. I am a fan of stop motion and it's fine here. People don't understand why it's in black and white…it's a memorabilia of past horror movies. And the original hour long Frankenweenie was in black and white as well. Too bad this movie didn't receive an Academy or Golden Globe. It deserves it..Score: 5/5

One of Tim Burton's best movies!I don't see how anyone could dislike this movie. This is one of Tim Burton's best movies. I'm a HUGE Tim Burton fan. My favorite character is Sparky. Yeah, I could relate to this movie. I've lost a dog (It was actually after I saw the movie). Why r u guys so upset about it being in black and white. Imagine if it was in color. It's one of those times where u think it would not be as good if it wasn't in black n white. I really wanna own it. I think everyone should go right now and see it. Cuz it's awesome!!!!! Awesome! 🐶Frakenweenie is one of the darker Disney films in my opinion. It was incredibly sad, but very good! This movie had me in tears quite a few times. I love Tim Burton’s style and plot for this movie! Also, not to mention I enjoyed the black and white look to it. This movie is wonderful in so many ways and is also a sweet/sad story of a kid and dog relationship together! Wonderful film! Highly enjoyed!.Score: 5/5

MediocreA geeky kid in a very weird town. His dog gets killed and he figures out a way to resurrect him. Chaos ensues. Lots of references to classic horror, monster, and thriller, films. The animation was mediocre. They were trying for a classic black and white monster movie look. What the got was clunky Rankin Bass, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer level “Anamagic” claymation. The writing was fairly predictable. It just didn’t grab me, I wasn’t engaged buy the story or characters. It felt like a retread..Score: 3/5
My kids were too scaredI love Tim Burton. The movie was brilliant, a usual Burton masterpiece. Having said that, my kids were pretty scared. All of the references to Godzilla, sea monkeys etc. were lost on them, even though my husband and I were chuckling. Basically at the end of the movie I had two sobbing daughters, (9 and 6 years old) It was not a great way to end our usual Friday night family movie night. My hubbie and I had to sleep in separate beds, one with each child. Just a warning if you have sensitive kids, it might not go over so well..Score: 3/5
