When college senior Anastasia Steele steps in for her sick roommate to interview prominent businessman Christian Grey for their campus paper, little does she realize the path her life will take. Christian, as enigmatic as he is rich and powerful, finds himself strangely drawn to Ana, and she to him. Though sexually inexperienced, Ana plunges headlong into an affair -- and learns that Christian's true sexual proclivities push the boundaries of pain and pleasure.

It's just a movie....I'm not sure what everyone is so worked up over. It was a MOVIE. I personally thought Dakota Johnson was wonderful. Ten times better than the Ana in the books, whom I found insufferable and immature. Dakota brought a warmth and humor to the character. Jamie Dornan was okay. I found his attempt at hiding his Irish accent distracting. Christian is far from perfect, having gone through the childhood he did, and I think that is sort of the point. Ana helped him grow and mature. I thought it was an entertaining movie and almost like it better than the book (I know. Shocking.) As they say sex sells, hence the director/writers not having a "real plot" or "real chemistry," with it's actors.
