DisappointingThe show does not follow the plot of the book and the characters are just annoying. (they do however match thier discriptions so that’s one plus.) It would be better if it wasn't based off the mortal instruments and it was a different plot entirely. The Shadowhunter books are one of my favorite books series but the show does not live up to it. If you are expecting it to be like the books I do not recomend it..Score: 1/5

Great TV show!!!I wish people would give this show a chance! It's by far one of my TV shows right now and even my brothers and sister love it! The acting gets better as the show goes on and the scenes that weren't in the book originally but are now in the TV show make it better! Trying my best to like itWhen i first started watching it i didn't like the way they portrayed Clary and Jace. I didn't really think that the people that were cast were good actors. The only reason that i kept on watching it was because of Magnus Bane and Alec. I'm glad that Harry and Mathew were cast. They're the ones that gave me hope.Score: 3/5

Something DifferentOkay so to start this off, I'm a huge TMI fan, but think about it; what they did differently than the movie is that they added something that'll keep us guessing if they'll eventually return to the original book plots. They did what wasn't predictable, in my opionion I think that's a good thing as well as bad. Why because, we all expect a lot from the show and from the movie and the directors. And because of all that expectations it's a lot of pressure. I personally didn't think I was going to like this show but it turned out pretty interesting. The casting could be a little different when it comes to Magnus, Simon, Maureen, and Valentine. Other than that, the casting is pretty good, although for Clary I think that Teresa Palmer would've made a good Clary. The last episode though, it's not what I expected, I mean they've been jumping from book to book and back again. So you would assume that Sebastian would be in the story plot now and so would Mya and Jordan but I guess they still wouldn't know who to pick for casting. To be honest I would pick Alex Pettyfer for Sebastian, Zendaya could play Mya, and Lucas Till or just spit balling here since he's on break from tour Harry styles could play Jordan. Any this is just my opinion, insteadof expecting what's in the book be open to new possibilities..Score: 3/5
