Mormon and LOVE it!!!To those of you who are looking to find fault with it, you will... I myself am amazed at all the information they actually get correct relating to the relationship between Lucifer and God and the fall. I kinda see this show as a cross between 'Castle' and 'Supernatural'. If you don't like this show... Simply don't watch it... I myself am THRILLED they renewed for season two....Score: 5/5

To love it, adjust expectations and know what it isFor people expecting sophisticated writing and air-tight plot with shakespearian acting, you will be dissapointed; for people looking for a faithful rendering of the comic books, you will be disappointed; for people looking for Neil Gaiman wit, and David Fincher nuance and twists, you will be disappointed... You will love this if... 1. you get through the pilot and the first couple of episodes. In the beginning they are clearly finding their footing and Tom Ellis (Lucifer) carried the whole show with a charismatic, wickedly adorable, British little devil - except he's tall (yay for the girls - tall dark handsome devil). The series improves along the season. 2. You understand the genre of the show. The show is a comedy more than a procedural, the procedural is an excuse to keep it going. If you are looking for a strong mystery/suspense/thriller, this show is not for you. This show is a comedy, slowly developing into a satyre and study of human nature, and not a "whodunit". 3. You don't take the show too seriously. This is a show that has no problem poking fun at itself, and is sometimes subtlety campy (I know that's an oxymoron, but it applies), and it works that way. 4. If you enjoy a little light debate over human nature and the ironies of our existence. 5. if you are unpretensious and can find humor in many different scenarios. Don't watch if you are a die-hard fan of the comics or if you are deeply religious. Also don't watch if you think that anything below the writing of the Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Battlestar Gallactica is beneath you. Personally, I loved those 4 tv shows and I love Lucifer, but it's apples and oranges. I look forward to Lucifer every week. I think the tv showrunners have successfully built characters that we care about. I also love the sexual tension between Lucifer and Chloe. I had a hard time at first with Lauren's (Chloe) acting (or the way she was directed? not sure). It doesn't bother me anymore, and I am officially signed off on the Lucifer-Chloe dynamic. For a fun, light-hearted, slightly seductive, compelling good time, watch Lucifer..Score: 5/5
Beautifully addicting...I was initially intrigued when I saw the previews for this, but there was still a part of me that was hesitant simply because it didn't seem like they were gonna go anywhere with the darkness of Lucifer's character... but boy was I wrong! First of all, Tom Ellis is nothing short of fantastic as Lucifer. He practically purrs like a cat when he speaks, so incredibly seductive and intriguing. And the next minute, he changes into the horrifying terror that haunts people's nightmares. The writing is great, the chemistry between the actors is on point, and I can't wait to see how this story continues to play out..Score: 5/5
