I would encourage those who put their faith in an unsupported medium in the West, to put their faith in Avatar: the Last Airbender. It's fantastic scenery matches the well developed characters of a beautiful and complex world, a world in which it can be so easy to find yourself lost in. The action is filled with awe inspiring spectacle and its direction a pleasure to behold. It can as adult at times as it is child like, dealing with the complex issues of loss, war, friendship and love.
