Ninjago ShoutoutsFirst of all, those who say this season is terrible, I say YOU PEOPLE R DEAD WRONG!!!!!!!! This is a great season. Yes I was surprised when they changed the ninjas to make them look like they did in the LEGO Ninjago Movie, but I got used to it. Second of all, I watched all the other seasons and this one tops it off. I love the plot twists and witty dialogue. Spoiler alert: the baby Cole finds is actually Master Wu, and Harumi is secretly evil the whole time. I can’t wait for season 9!!!!.I m awsumScore: 5/5

It’s good and badI have watched every single ninjago and this has changed everything because of the scene and that they are smaller and everything it’s just completely different and doesn’t feel the same. Love the DRAMAMy gosh, this is one of my favorite seasons, it’s so deep and Lloyd has a HEARTBREAK 👏🏻 I’m honestly glad, I do not ship him and Harumi, she is not a good match, and, spoilers! If you’ve seen season 9, you know that Garmadon kinda adopts Harumi and they (La-Loyd and Rumi) basically become siblings. Break through!Hey guys! Before I start this review I just want to say something: Jennystar, I can relate to what you said in your season 10 review. I’ve been watching Ninjago since I was too little to understand it, but I already loved the action! I’m 11 now, and a true Ninjago fan. Give me any question on Ninjago and I’ll answer two seconds after. Ask me who voiced a character and I’ll tell you. I heard about Kirby as well. If any of his family ever happen to read this (Which is highly unlikely but still possible) I’m sorry for your loss and the Ninjago community is mourning with you. I’m sure he’s watching over you. Anyways, time for the reviewing. This season was inexpressibly phenomenal. I loved everything about it. Everything was good. And Lloyd’s new voice was GREAT! It makes him sound so much less like a girl! And the new looks were hard to adjust to, but they were great! I love Zane’a new morphing tech! And Mr. E was very impressive, I like how he doesn’t really talk, and when he does, it’s in some strange digital language. One thing though: I. HATE. H. A. T. E. HARUMI. *spits* She’s awful! It wasn’t Lloyd’s fault in the slightest! She’s so corrupt! I was actually kinda happy when she got killed! (I was sad for Lloyd though.) Anyways, that will be all. Bye guys! Season 8 Review! A Must Watch!Sons of Garmadon is what I consider the “Season which saved Ninjago.” This season didn’t just redefine what Ninjago was, it completely reinvented the series almost from the ground up. Most other series tend to focus on what made them successful as they continue on for almost a decade. Ninjago was starting to do the same thing, and it felt predictable. Season 8 came in and took risks, and didn’t pander to fan service. Initially the Season was met by controversy, since it does have a time skip, and the ninja are older and look slightly different. However, this move is absolutely GENIUS. Having the characters grow up with the show allows the show to explore more mature plots, that it couldn’t do with younger, less experienced ninja. The villain of this Season, Harumi is so much fun to watch. She has a very sinister presence on screen, and really helps tie this season back to the very first season in a way no fans were expecting. She and Master Lloyd are definitely the stand out characters. Master Lloyd (yes, it’s Master now) is my favorite change from the old to new designs. The voice performance done by Sam Vincent is pretty solid, and sounds like an older version of the performance done by Jillian Michaels. Also, seeing Lloyd be the leader and master of the team is extremely satisfying, and feels earned after seeing him grow up from a young child. The action scenes in the season are the best Ninjago has ever put to screen, and the soundtrack by Jay Vincent and Michael Kramer is amazing. It utilizes the 7/8 time signature to create a unique theme for the Sons of Garmadon. The sound design is also mastered in 5.1 surround sound, which really pushes the fact that this season was made to be watched in home theaters on big screens. I would even go as far as to call Season 8 almost like a “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” type of Season, where it took a completely different turn than what people expected out of it, to give not what fans wanted, but what the series needed. Overall Season 8 gave Ninjago that phenomenal reinvention, new concepts, and almost everything else that it needed in order to continue to be extremely successful as we head into the what the future holds for the beloved series..PK StudiosScore: 5/5

OMGWow! This season is the best! It’s got everything I want from a Ninjago season: action, mystery, and emotional conflict! It has lots of good battles that may just be my favorite scenes in Ninjago history, such as Lloyd Vs Garmadon, ya know? It’s just a super amazing season and if you haven’t seen this season yet, you definitely should! If you haven’t ever watched Ninjago, start at season 1 and watch through the series! I’m telling you, it’s worth it and besides they’re only 20 minutes each so you don’t even have to spend too much time and you can watch 3 in an hour! Anyways, thx for reading that long review! This is the Ninjago you know and love!As a fan of the show that has been watching since near the beginning, I’m telling you, these are the characters you know and love... this IS Ninjago. Yes the design change annoyed me at first... but you’ll get used to it. This season is probably my favorite... probably one of the darkest and most intense seasons to ever come from this show, the character development and plot twists are great. The story feels so much more complex and mature than seasons that came before... if you are a fan that left because of the change... you’re missing out on some of the best Ninjago content ever!
