Cliche and TriteA great cast but a moronic premise. This may as well be make-believe land or a drug induced hallucination about some impossible form of socialized medicine..Score: 1/5
OK??!! Awesome dr show. The finale made it the best show... besides... the finale was good but a terrible sad ending! Who died??!! Hopefully no important doctors....Score: 5/5
More than the sum of its partsNew Amsterdam has an excellent cast, is produced well, moves along at a good pace, and is generally well constructed. Some of the choices made by the writers are suspect. The new medical director, the show's central character, has cancer, a bad relationship with the mother of his child, and seems too idealistic/naive for someone who has worked in the US medical system for a long time. These strange choices are balanced by the character's charmisma, caring, and charm, which carry the first episode, and make it more than the sum of its parts..Score: 4/5

Great start-then disappointingThe show starts out fast moving and entertains. As the season progressed it became apparent that it is pushing a liberal agenda. The entertainment is gone and leaves only a hard sell of anti-conservative beliefs..Score: 2/5
Started Great but fell on it's face. Sorry I bought it.Started as a really great story. Then they jumped on the liberal, antigun and cops like to shoot people wagon. I don't need to pay to have them stand on their soap box..Score: 1/5
Absolutely loveNot until I was 26 and completely had to navigate which insurance plan was best for me and how the American health system is absolutely horrible do I realize how important it is for a hospital like “New Amsterdam” to exist. This show sheds light on current issues surrounding our healthcare system. And I absolutely love the characters and how each one had a different part and issue they were working on. Max is amazing actor and I also loved Dr. Sharpe, and the Dr running the ER..Score: 5/5

Pushing a Liberal AgendaWho'd have thought - a drama about health care would push a liberal agenda. I guess a conservative show about jacking drug prices, denying insurance coverage, and dumping poor patients at bus stations just isn't compelling. Maybe if the alt-right wants a good show about greed, fear-mongering, and a total lack of human compassion, they could just watch Fox News..Score: 5/5
