Has potential but . . .. . . the writing is so heavy-handed. I get that they need to set up the characters and the storyline in the pilot in order to draw us in, but I have rarely seen so many clichés and overused plot points in a single episode. I am a huge Nathan Fillion fan; and, he and the rest of the cast bring solid acting to this show, but the material they have to work with needs finesse, some original ideas and much greater depth.
