Narcissistic BaloneyThis show focuses on ‘families’ of misfits in society. Abused, rejected young people who are gay, trans, cross-dressers, feminine dancers, etc. etc. are adopted by ‘The House of .... fill in the pretentious blank’ New York. Their drama and drag show competition doesn’t create a positive spin on the players. It’s not fun, creative or entertaining. It is a sad display of ego. The matriarch/mother never lets her ‘children’ who she rescued from the street, forget how she ‘saved them. They are treated like slaves and indentured servants. These poor lost kids go from a hateful, rejecting family into a family assuming affected name and base their worth on drag show competitions. It is a very unflattering portrayal of an lifestyle where there is a possibility of fun, creativity, and a win-win perspective. Very disappointing after 30 minutes I had to turned it off..Score: 1/5
