Lost touchThe complete miniseries lost touch I thought back when I was young mostly because the cool alien voice dubbing stopped. It is what in my opinion seperated the two characters the most beyond the cheesy lizard suits. They also began recycling footage like sky fighter scenes. Compared to the first two series the original mini sereies gets a low score, however it is cool to watch and laugh a little. V has to be the coolest show I used to watch back in the 80's. What a hard to find show these days..Score: 2/5

About halfway through the season, it falls apartThe series, in my opinion, starts off great. However, about halfway through the season, as a previous poster said, the interesting characters leave and we are left with the romance of the star child and a "I'm going to get back at daddy" plotline. I bought the series on DVD a few years back and I watched the last few episodes only because I owned them. If I was watching on TV, I would have probably stopped watching and gave up at about episode 15..Score: 3/5
So THAT'S why my parents wouldn't let me watch this...When this first aired on TV I was in 2nd grade. I remember the commercials and wanting to see this soooo bad. My parents insisted it would be too scary. Yep. They were right. Of course take into account it was the '80s so the special effects aren't what they are today, but this is such a great show. Good Idea. Bad TV.These episodes are sub-standard and tarnish the memories I had of V as a kid. The star child storyline was not interesting and the Universal Studio backlot sets were distracting. These episodes were rife with recycled footage and plot inconsistencies. I found myself straining to care about the characters that were so engaging in the original TV movie. Don't waste your money..Score: 1/5
Family memories!!As "campy" as everyone says this is...and it is campy, What I like about this and the mini-series is that my whole family would gather around the "ONE" boob tube we had and watch this show every week. We were so into it !! Not to sound too depressing but, this is one of the last times I can remember before the divorce and my big bro. getting kicked out, and my sister moving to england that we where just a normal family, all of us every fri. night sitting and talking about the show and wondering what's going to happen this week!! Awsome Show!!!Wow I never imagined this would come back after so many years I remember seeing this when i was a kid. I already have the series on VHS and DVD . I even have all 17 DC Comic books like 6 sets still in plastic and now worth quite a bit of money along with all the figurines and collectible cards. Great Times with this show and a huge crush when i was a kid on Jane Badler (Diana) . I would recommend buying this show although the graphics now seem cheesy after all the new technology we have now for movies lol. but still a good buy...Score: 5/5

Great 80's sci- fiThe reason i loved this series was it didn't take itself too seriously! it was at the best of times campy,like a space "dynasty" with a constantly feuding for power blonde and brunette, the really cute resistance fighter falling in love with the the wrong girl, and the kicker..alien lizards who craved a mouse appetizer with a human main course! the spaceships done from a far were a great shot too. but it was also tongue in cheek, like many shows of the decade with the cold war. but this one was just a little more fun. enjoy!.Score: 5/5

`V`ery nice. Well, that's my Ipod filled up !Loved the show in the 80's (and to be honest these do look a little dated, but hey, I don't care), and much looking forward to the new novel due out anytime now. Anyway, already watched a couple of episodes (ideal to watch whilst feeding my new baby), very happy with the quality, and looking forward to watching the rest soon. Great program, "blast" from the pastI remember watching this in the 80s, I also have all the Videos of the whole of the 3 series on VHS in my loft somewhere. When I seen this on iTunes, I thought I must have it, says converting all those VHS tapes. It is a bit expensive though for the series, and the other series should be up as well. This is my 1st video purchase off iTunes and I am very very impressed with the quality on my iPod Classic. I am waiting for my iPod TV out lead to see what it looks like on TV. Overall a great series, worth having, a bit expensive, but great!!!! LOC.Score: 4/5
Nice but....As much as i like "V" and would like to buy this collection, wouldn't it have been nice to include the original mini-series since that contains the plot opening and initial story. This is the 1st official full series but continues the story from that mini 3 hour one..Score: 2/5
What?To the person complaining about spending less than £2 and suggesting stuff from the 1980s is rubbish! Were you even alive then? It was a great period of time in many respects! Either you are a really, really disappointed Sci Fi fan, or you are just rather foolish and naive.!!! I suspect the latter! This is a classic series! How can you call it rubbish based on watching only one episode? How much Sci Fi do you actually know? Its not perfect by any means, but then nothing ever is really, particularly when it comes to films and tv shows. Nevertheless, check things out thoroughly before you part with your cash and then completely condemn the series out of hand. If you make a mistake and waste you’re very small amount of money, then that’s your fault, particularly as you are moaning about a really silly amount lost! Pathetic really!!! Is the storyline too complicated for you to understand? Very likely? Back up your opinions with hard facts! The series has a few flaws, as do most ( like Dr Who? Or Star Trek, for example?), but it is not the complete and utter rubbish you suggest! Watch it again, properly, then pass judgment, and backup with some actual reasons! You are entitled to your opinions like anyone else, but do not completely condemn something without solid facts to back up these opinions! Basic common sense really! Low rent, but still quite funAs a rather needless follow up to the original V mini series (which ia also now on iTunes, albeit at a very over inflated price) this show is a mixed success. The budget is low, brutally so with most of the special effects shots simply being taken directly from the mini-series. But the original cast returns (including Michael Ironside) and there's still enjoyment to be had here from time to time, even if the story is a little limp..Score: 2/5
