After learning that Jason and Lex are in China searching for one of the mysterious crystals, Clark and Lana follow in the hopes of finding one first. Clark discovers an artifact that leads them to the crystal, but he must battle Isobel, the witch, who has once again inhabited Lana's body in order to take the crystal for herself. Meanwhile, Lex knows more about the crystals than he admits..

Commencement problem too!Yeah, I had the same problem with Commencment too, the audio and video aren't in sync for the majority of the episode. The only time it's in sync is during the season recap at the beginning of the episode..Score: 4/5
Audio messed on on "Commencement"............otherwise a great season in High Def. The audio in the finale is off key after the opening credits.....almost makes buying the season here anti-climactic! :-( Please fix this!!!.Score: 5/5
Lets Be Honest PeopleI love Smallville. I've watched every episode since the start and this is definetly the worst season of them all. The witch thing reminded me of a soup opera, and when they went to China they all of a sudden knew forms of Karate and/or Kung-fu. Lame. Don't get me wrong their are a few gems such as Crusade, Run, Transference, and maybe Unsafe. (The only reason it gets two stars is for those episodes). Everything else is either high school filler or a waste of time. The acting in the episode Spell made me want to throw up. Definetly the worst episode of Smallville ever made (no exageration). If you want to get to know Smallville don't start here. Only us hardcore fans will come back to this season, and even we will cringe..Score: 2/5

Finally!Thank you Itunes, for finally putting up seasons 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Smallville! I now have more choice of favorite episodes to have on my ipod. As for this season itself, Crusade, Run, Transference, Scare, Onyx and Commencement are, in my opinion, amongst the greatest episodes of the series. There are a couple of stinkers, namely Ageless (just my opinion, though I'm sure most people will agree with me!) The witch-stone plot can be rather boring at times, but I think I enjoyed Kristin playing Isobel more than Lana! Spell may be a poor episode in some fans eyes, but I find it hugely entertaining, mostly because we have the gorgeous Tom Welling shirtless throughout most of the episode! Other favorite episodes include Gone, Devoted, Unsafe, Pariah, Krypto and Blank. I really enjoyed the introduction of Jason and Genevieve Teague (Jensen Ackles and Jane Seymour) as they were interesting characters. Of course, the introduction of Lois Lane gave a turning point in the series and it ended an era of high school. All in all a strong season, full of what a show about a young Clark Kent/Superman should be..Score: 5/5
