Eh...Seasons six and seven were definately my least favorite. Particularly season seven... The end of this show is a majorly depressing thing and this season ties up no loose ends and isnt very well written. Compared to the rest of the show, episodes are unrealistic and annoying. WastedI luv this showww soooooo much i always looked forward to watching this but the ending is awfuul my favorite part of this show was the relationship between rory and logan, and the script writers just went and just threw away their relationship. if anyone knew rory from wathcing season after season that she would never say no she would have said yes because she loved him so much. the ending just seemed way to rushed.Score: 3/5
Gilmore Girls on iTunes??? It's about time!I have been occasionally searching iTunes for this series for the past few months, and you can imagine my surprise when one day, all of a sudden, they had the complete series available for purchase. I always thought that they were losing out on a great money-making opportunity by not adding this, and it's awesome to see that we can finally enjoy all these episodes on our iPods! I didn't become a weekly viewer of this series until it hit its 6th season, but I caught up with all the seasons from beginning to end, and now I consider it one of my favorites. Gilmore Girls stuck to a formula that really resonated with audiences - the concept of meeting a woman in her 30's who got pregnant at 16 and now has a steady job, a loyal (if not completely quirky) support system in her community, and an Ivy League-bound teenage daughter who is her best friend. While teen pregnancy is portrayed as working out in a much more positive light here, the show never attempts to idealize the situation, which is perhaps one of its strongest assets. It's just a great show for all ages - colorful characters, snappy writing, quick-paced dialogue (its trademark quality), heartwarming moments when they are warranted, but nothing heavy-handed. Alexis Bledel never struck me as a natural in front of the camera, but she hits her stride as young Rory and grows into the character that becomes her own for seven years. And Lauren Graham is, as you may have already heard, a dynamic actress who deserves to be the Meryl Streep of television, if only the Emmys would bother to give her the recognition. Unfortunately, she was cheated out of that with this show, but fans will always remember her talent, and I expect to see a lot more from her in the future. Overall, Gilmore Girls is a great series to revisit on iTunes if you're a fan, and worthy of a try if you haven't experienced it yet. I honestly can't pick a season I love the most (a rarity for me), since every single season has certain ups, downs, and favorite episodes that essentially even it all out. No matter what season you choose, you're sure to fall in love with the story..Score: 5/5
