Great SeriesI started by watching Season 4 and it made me coming back to Season 1. I loves to see things that happened in Season 1 develops the character into who they are in Season 4. Can't wait to see Season 5..Score: 5/5
Donnie Who?I think the true star of this show is Tom Selleck. I only wish I could grow a mustache of such stature. In all seriousness, I think that it is a well thought out show that not only entertains us with our thirst for cop shows, but also delves into family interactions. Blue Bloods looks to be able to entertain for some time to come with underlying plot themes and human interest based stories. Unlike many shows today that try to shock you with either graphic nature, it seems content with telling a story and leaving gross details to the imagination. I forsee a definite fan following to develop in the future. Five stars from me. Oh, and Tom Selleck is the man..Score: 5/5

Where is Season 2? (17 Sept 2011)I find it nearly impossible to understand why iTunes offers such tripe as "H8R" and does not post "Blue Bloods, Season 2" for purchase. Any rational about "niche market" or "It's what viewers want" is also nonsense. Let's go, iTunes! Give us quality TV! Some of us actually *think* about what we're watching! Police show with layers, family, philosophical discussion.It seems like a competition as to which can be created in greater volume, cop shows or medical dramas. Blue Bloods stands in a different category than your typical cop shows. Yes, it has the typical crime that is typically solved by the end of the episode, but what is different is the dialogue. Blue Bloods centers around three generations of NYC police officers who actually wrestle with the decisions and outcomes of each case. What makes this possible is the Sunday family dinner. In most episodes, the family is found gathered around the table and often disagrees with the methods or situations pertaining to cases in which they are involved. There is the retired police chief, the current commissioner, a detective, a city DA, and a newly sworn beat-cop all in the one family. This creates for fantastic discussions that enable the viewer to both realize the complexities of situations as well as mentally engage in the debate. If you watch with your friends, you’ll probably find yourself discussing the situation as well. The show is more of a philosophical, sociological medium for examination of culture than it is cop show. I highly recommend this program..Score: 5/5
Where are the other 7 shows????Luckily I did not buy a season pass because it appears I would have been cheated out of 7 episodes. The bottom of season 1 page says 22 episodes but only 15 are listed. Am I missing something?.Score: 3/5

MehThey sure do pack a lot into one episode! some shows would have spread all that drama over a season or two but not these Blue Bloods, I suppose they figure it might get canceled so they should get their moneys worth from the writers. Frankly I would have enjoyed some character development so I could care about this show but are audiences that patient these days? I dunno ask Mad Men or Breaking Bad..Score: 2/5

Disappointing!!!A big disappointment! Maybe it was just because it was the pilot but it seemed a little to hoakey/shiny/hollywood and not enough gritty, true to life type stuff. It reminded me of the cop shows of the early eighties where at the end of every episode someone has learned a lesson in morality and all the heroes give each other a coy look and a big shiny smile..Score: 2/5
