AmazingIf you have a weak stomach then this show is not for you. It is one of the best written, acted, and shot shows on television. I am surprised this show even airs on NBC but regardless it is a treat. This version of Hannibal is the best of all the versions shot on the big screen. I’m not the biggest horror fan but the style of the show reminds me of the walking dead in that the horror portion is just a backdrop to the surreal events that take place on the show. Again I cannot recommend this show enough for any fan great television. One warning though, it is graphic and chilling..Score: 5/5

Cinematic PerfectionAs someone who has seen the films and read the books I was skeptical going in. However, after watching season one I realized just how beautiful this composition piece is. Season two is splendid, pairing nuance and subtlety in regards to acting with an almost operatic sense of style, the show has outdone itself once again. By far the better telling of Hannibal, once you watch this show you realize just how over the top the films have been (and sadly Hopkins in particular), and just how perfect Mads Mikkelsen is in the part. Each actor fits as if in a puzzle perfectly, and as a female in the forensic sciences, I genuinely appreciate the inclusion of intelligent women. I hope that of everything in Bryan Fullers' repertoire this will be the project that fulfills the potential we have seen in his previous works such as Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me..Score: 5/5
Best written show on TV but adults onlyExcellent show. Music that follows the shows moods very well. Superior acting and fantastic writing. However, this is an adult oriented show so I recommend no one under 18 watch it..Score: 5/5

Not so good as the first seasonI like the show , season one was amazing . But my complaint is that : since the season has too many episodes , much has to happen , and the quantity of serial killers are just ridiculous . Also the “ friendship “ between Lecter and Will is far too much to be believable. The show could be more slower , and focus more on patients and how insane Dr. Lecter is , instead they wanted to do almost a new murder/serial killeer per episode and somehow it it too much..Score: 3/5
Outstanding Show but..As you get towards the end of Season 2 it becomes really Dark, Shockingly Disturbing and not for everyone. If you have a weak stomach, forget it. While I have enjoyed it.. if the show ends the way it truly is portraying the ending of season two… I don’t know how i would feel. Spoiler: ************************************************* I can’t see Will as a real Killer that Hannibal is now grooming... it has to be some type of cover. If he is.. it would be the biggest disappointment for this show and probably end my interest in it. I can only hope that this is a game that he is playing to catch Hannibal. HannibalI am not enjoying Season 2 as much as the 1st. Mads Mikkelsen continues to be excellent as Dr. Lechter. However, Hugh Dancy as Will Graham has a begun to bore me. Laurence Fishburne tends to overact in many scenes. Caroline Dhavernas is a static actress. Will miss Hettienne Park now that Lechter has killed her. Very good in the role. As of the April 25 show, I have downgraded my critique to one star. Bored, tired of nonsensical characters, and looking forward to the season finale. If there is a Season 3 doubt highly that I will watch it unless things pick up tremendously. This show has become too bizarre to watch. The May 2 episode was beyond words.. I doubt highly that there will be a season 3 for me. The May 16 episode was gross beyond imagination. How it is on mainstream television is beyond me. What's worse I have continued to watch it. There will definitely not be a season 3 for me..Score: 2/5

BrilliantTo be honest I was never that much of a fan of the movies, but the fact they got Mads Mikkelsen in to play Hannibal just got me hooked, who better to deliver the sinister character than him. I also admire how it’s so well crafted, every episode is almost a work of art, the slow shots, time lapse, and artistic presentation, first rate.
