Poldark: Perfect Period Drama from start to finishThe opening theme song is a great introduction to what will unfold on screen. The cinematography is spectacular. The cast is superb including top performances by lead actors Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson. I hope that there are more seasons (can't wait for Season 2) to come and as engrossing as the first season. For all of the die-hard fans of Downton Abbey and Outlander, this show is perfect for you. How Will I Survive until Season 2????Definitely worth buying the season pass. Didn’t realize they cut about 6 min off each episode on PBS so having the full episodes on iTunes is a huge bonus. I don’t think I’ve ever been this addicted to a series. The story, the scenery, the acting is like eating your favorite decadent dessert with your eyes. Yes, it’s that great!!.Score: 5/5

Perfect period drama!This is a wonderful series. Acting, scenery and storyline are everything I want in an English period drama. Aidan Turner as Ross Poldark is brilliant. His smoldering good looks add to this series. Eleanor Tomlinson as Demelza is stunning. Their love story was tender and true. I cannot wait until Season 2 as I've already watched the entire season 1 ... Three times....Score: 5/5

Breath of Fresh AirThis is such a great show for so many reasons! All of the actors are very talented and believable. The storyline is strong and I love that the story holds value across time, it's not one of those short sited shows where every episode ends with a cliff hanger. Something as simple as colorI was interested in this show. I clicked on it to read its description. I was shown white text on light blue background that I could not read no matter what. I was already incensed that Apple does not allow 2 finger zoom on the iTunes display. The contrast in color is so week that I would need a new prescription just to be able to read it..Score: 1/5
Haven't seen it because...As much as I'd like to watch this, in solidarity with those reviewers lamenting that Season 2 isn't available in Canada when it's available elsewhere, I've stopped buying shows that do this (Victoria is another one). I get that there are distribution licenses and whatnot that tie Apple's hands but at the end of the day, someone somewhere is being obstructive and greedy. Boycott On!.Score: 1/5
