A typical night for a group of war veterans at the local VFW turns into an all-out battle for survival when a teenage girl runs into the bar with a bag of stolen drugs. Movie...meh... but.....This movie, itself was not that great.... it did remind me of a bad horror flick you would rent from Blockbuster, get a bunch of snacks , carry out from a great restaurant (Riversmith’s), lots of beer and just sit back with friends and family. You’d enjoy even a bad flick because you were still with the people you love. The saving grace for this movie, it reminded me of those times..Score: 2/5
Very disappointedThis has been on my list to watch for awhile now and as my title goes, very disappointed. First off, the lighting in the movie was absolutely horrible. The gore was decent but was robbed of its effects by the poor lighting during the whole movie. Minus the old timers, the young actors were also horrible. Could have done a much better job with the junkie hoard, instead it was a bunch of metal head mosh pitters randomly storming this VFW over and over again. Some of my favorite horror movies are low budget works of art, this is not one of them. The main drug dealer was also a let down. Not intimidating at all, constantly has a butt in his hand and is pacing around. I kept checking the clock because I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Almost shut it off and I wish I would have..Score: 1/5

All this RUMBLIN’ about!Kick back with an icy bev, get yourself in a posi-mood, and enjoy. Ridiculous? Well yeah, but that’s a big part of the fun in this apocalyptic flick. It’s great to watch these seasoned actors deliver big time and with some spot dialog. You’ll feel like you’re hanging out, partying as one of the crew at a local VFW. To the negative reviewers, come on now.. why so serious folks? If it helps, make the junkie horde out to be coronavirus.. you’ll feel much better. For this darkness.. it’s perfect.
