Good premise terrible executionThey sunk too deep into the premise. If you take out the whole CIA story line and just have Nick Cage rediscovering himself through this fanboy millionaire then you have a fantastic movie. But all of that was lost in the CIA story line and the constant “WINK WINK GET IT”-ness that you were constantly bombarded with makes of a very bad movie..Score: 2/5

Best Buddy Action Comedy in years!!!Fine tuned meta-performance from Nicolas Cage who’s paired perfectly with Pedro Pascal making this one of the best buddy action comedies of recent memory - this is the type of chemistry Shane Black’s scripts and movies either soar or sink on. Self referential with knowing nods to Cage’s extensive filmography, it’s executed with a light tone, self awareness and devoid of pretension all the while playing off of well established genre tropes. Though this certainly deepens the material for the devoted film buff, the TUWOMT delivers laughs and thrills for the uninitiated and cinephiles alike..Score: 5/5
