With full cooperation and support of her record label Warner Music and Roberta Flack herself, this documentary delivers everything you might expect, and thanks to the enthusiastic on-screen presence of other numerous superstars from various fields who know Flack and have been inspired by her work, including Clint Eastwood, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Angela Davis, and Sean Lennon, it is a timely testament to the powerful influence of Roberta Flack on our world, today. The film is a journey of discovery, a trip down memory lane and an urgent call to action.
Football player John Kent tags along as Huck Haines and the Wabash Indianians travel to an engagement in Paris, only to lose it immediately. John and company visit his aunt, owner of a posh fashion house run by her assistant, Stephanie. There they meet the singer Scharwenka (alias Huck's old friend Lizzie), who gets the band a job. Meanwhile, Madame Roberta passes away and leaves the business to John and he goes into partnership with Stephanie.
