Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay marks the triumphant return of these two hilarious, slacker anti-heroes. The movie stars John Cho (American Pie I & American Pie II, American Dreamz) as Harold and Kal Penn (Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj, Epic Movie) as Kumar, two stoners who can’t seem to get a break. Their last adventure found them traveling across country to find a White Castle hamburger in order to satisfy a weed- induced case of “the munchies.” This time, the boys get themselves in trouble trying to sneak a bong onboard a flight to Amsterdam. Now, being suspected of terrorism, they are forced to run from the law and try to find a way to prove their innocence. What follows is an irreverent and epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip around the world that is as “un-PC” as it gets.

Having satisfied their urge for White Castle, Harold and Kumar jump on a plane to catch up with Harold's love interest, who's headed for the Netherlands. But the pair must change their plans when Kumar is accused of being a terrorist. Rob Corddry also stars in this wild comedy sequel that follows the hapless stoners' misadventures as they try to avoid being captured by the Department of Homeland Security.

Hélas, comme souvent avec ces deux-là, les choses vont vite déraper et par un enchaînement de catastrophes dont ils ont le secret, ils vont se retrouver accusés de terrorisme et envoyés au camp de Guantanamo. Ils n'auront de cesse de prouver leur innocence mais pour cela, il faudra s'évader. Ce ne sera pas la partie la plus compliquée étant donné la folle course-poursuite qui les attend ensuite. Český Harold a Kumar se vracejí a tentokrát míří do Amsterdamu, kde je snadno k mání marihuana. Problémy však začínají už v letadle, kde si jedna pasažérka splete Kumara s teroristou. Oba hrdinové se tak ocitnou na Guantanamu, odkud se jim podaří utéct... Harold a Kumar jsou zpátky, ještě vyhulenější a vymaštěnější než bývali. Před čtyřmi lety se vydali za hamburgery, dneska si to namířili přímo do Amsterdamu. Se snadným cílem a stejným průběhem: spousta alkoholu, lehkých drog a sbírka podivných postav, o kterých se vám většinou jenom zdá - na cestě za poznáním. Bohužel problémy začínají už v letadle, kde si jedna pasažérka splete Kumara s nebezpečným teroristou. Oba hrdiny pošlou šupem do vězení na Guantanamu, odkud se jim podaří utéct, a vrací se i starý známý Neil Patrick Harris, který hraje sám sebe, takže o zábavu je postaráno
