Mad Max: The Road Warrior Film Synopsis
Max Rockatansky returns as the heroic loner who drives the dusty roads of a postapocalyptic Australian Outback in an unending search for gasoline. Arrayed against him and the other scraggly defendants of a fuel-depot encampment are the bizarre warriors commanded by the charismatic Lord Humungus, a violent leader whose scruples are as barren as the surrounding landscape.

A Great Time, Post-Apocalyptic-Style...Really great action with a real 'grit' to it. You can almost smell the gasoline and choke on the dust in a lot of the scenes--it's an unforgiving story of a lone wanderer set in a post apocalyptic world where it's either you or 'them' in trying to stay alive. Add a plot where the wanderer is forced into doing the right thing by any means necessary, sprinkle in some ridiculously over the top, totally metal baddies, dump a bunch of dune buggies and bashed-up cars in the Australian Outback, and you've got The Road Warrior.
If you're looking for a good 80's action movie with lots of cringeworthy camp but solid action sequences even by today's CG standards, this should be at the top of your list..EinyoScore: 4/5

Happy CamperIt had been a long, long time since I had seen the post-apocalyptic favourite from my youth. When I was reminded of it I went directly yo iTunes and was happy to discover they had it available.
I was skeptical of the “1080p HD’ rating that was touted but I’m happy to report the quality is excellent.
This film almost seems timeless and even the copy editing seems “right” for the high energy and real speed of the movie.
Buying this prompted me to get the rest of the Mad Max series in anticipation of the new instalment coming in May 2015, Fury Road..R i ( hScore: 5/5
