Really?This movie could have been so so so much better. I felt like I watched a porn instead of a movie with a good message. I am for the small, organic, family farmer. I eat real foods rather than processed foods. I desire to be healthy and expose the sins of large corporations. This movie was more about sex than any health agenda. Sad. Beware all Avril fansIf you are just looking for Avril on the big screen with a hefty amount of play then do not bother watching this movie. But if you are interested in the subject matter, I suggest you rent then buy. The movie does have some nudity so try to keep children from watching this. The movie graphics are not really bloody until the end of the movie where a long scene exposes the "kill floor"..Score: 3/5
Another great Participant filmI AM A BEEF EATER. I love hamburgers, prime rib, ribeye steak and filet mignon. I can't imagine not ever eating red meat. After watching this film however, I can see why people choose to become vegetarian or vegan. Although a previous reviewer commented that the film has nothing to do with fast food, I disagree. The fast food industry makes a lot of money. This film provides us with a glimpse into what makes that industry "successful." Fast food burger chains' main product is unsurprisingly cheap beef. The film informs audiences, to some degree, exactly how that beef is cheap, which includes: - the treatment of cattle - the food fed to cattle - the frightening process in which cattle is turned into beef - the less-than preferred standards of cleanliness in meat packaging plants - and unfair labor practices These are all the things that we do not even think about when we buy our burgers, but are parts of the process in providing us with our $1.99 burgers. All this was provided with an inspirational message to youth as well. Be yourself and make a difference. This is definitely worth the purchase and it is a steal if you get it for $4.99.Score: 5/5
Leftist Environmental DribbleThis film is a fictional account of the fast food/meat packing industry with various undertones of Anti "Big Business" and "The man is holding us down." It was difficult to watch. I don't really recommend purchasing this video even though it was on a 4.99 special. I guess it was there for a reason..Score: 1/5

Im becoming a hippie now.Okay, so this movie possibly has changed my life forever. having given up fast food since i was 7 (i was a very willful child) and have stayed that way for 11 years, its not about being healthy. no, this movie has made me look at the submission we give everyday to people who dont deserve it. our country was built on the idea of freedom; lies and propaganda were not part of that freedom. we should try and change this, and i know it wont happen overnight, but ill drink to trying. Challenging and so worth it!This movie is fantastic. much of it is difficult to watch, as it should be because it describes terrible situations. having read the book fast food nation and read michael pollan's books and studied permaculture, i wasn't surprised by the storyline, but i was disgusted. it is very well performed by some great actors who (i hope) must have felt personally connected to the issues within. please watch this movie and tell others about it too!!!.Score: 5/5
