At a carnival, young Josh Baskin (Tom Hanks) wishes he was big – only to awake the next morning and discover he is! With the help of his friend Billy, Josh lands a job at a toy company but the more he experiences being an adult, the more Josh longs for the simple joys of childhood.

Only Movie I Love Enough to Own!I never buy movies. After I watch it once, it’s a waste, for me.
Except for this one. I absolutely adore this movie! It’s very well done, and not over the top. You’re able to suspend disbelief.
The scene, in the bathroom mirror is so perfect, you believe a 12 year old kid woke up in a grown man’s body. It’s an introduction to Tom Hanks’ acting ability. Without a single word spoken in the scene, he convinces you that it’s real. He’s a twelve year old, who woke up as a grown man.
Believability is never lost in the storyline, it just gets better and better.
