Very dark dramedyI loved this movie. It’s funny, awkward and heart wrenching all at the same time. The themes include dealing with familial and adult disappointment, suicide, dark secrets, pushing people away and learning who you can really depend on in your life. It’s all very believable and the excellent performances are boosted by some very solid writing. It’s relatable, especially for those of us who may have asked ourselves “is this it? Is this my life?” and all of those kinds of questions. My one complaint is that the movie felt a little unfinished, with an ending that works, but felt a bit frustrating. But I suppose that that was the point. For me, I feel like it was a hidden gem. It’s not a pretentious little artsy flick, it’s solid and thought provoking and I’m glad I decided to rent it..Score: 5/5

Much better than I expectedI thought I was in for some semi funny indie with cool actors. But instead I got a great poignant drama with well placed ebb and flow and some lighthearted inserts. I always thought Hader was Meh…, and I related more to him as the dude who does nothing but laugh in the South Park documentary and had a good run on SNL and some good character roles in films. In this he held his own and more as a lead and the chemistry between him and Wiig was great. Even better, the script and plot took a fantastic journey. Skip the trailer, know this aint Bridesmaids and enjoy. For 99 cents this week to rent, it’s the best almost dollar out there..Score: 5/5
A few funny scenesAt first blush its hard to believe these two are fraternal twins, and the back story isn't presented very well. Wiig & Hader are at they're best clowning around with each other -- it might have been a better film if it was just a collection of scenarios with the two of them strung together and just drop any pretension of telling a linear narrative..Score: 3/5

Can’t get the time backDownloaded for a plane trip. Automatically lowers the standard for a movie. All the actors in this are great but the story is beyond depressing and goes nowhere. Suicide is a big theme in it. You will want to kill yourself before it’s over. Still love Hader and Wig and anxiously await their next movie..Score: 2/5
Pretty drearyDefinitely misadvertized. They put every funny scene in the trailer, and the rest of the movie is dark and somewhat dreary. There is certainly a novelty of taking two great comedians and asking them not to be funny, and they show some decent acting chops. Ultimately do not watch if you in any way want to watch a comedy. If you feel like a ponderous reflection on suicide and a life filled with unfulfilled longing then go right ahead..Score: 3/5
