This sexy and thrilling new series from The Vampire Diaries’ executive producer centers on the Original vampire family and the dangerous vampire/werewolf hybrid, Klaus (Joseph Morgan), who returns to the magical melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans — a town he helped build centuries ago. Acting on a mysterious tip that a plot is brewing against him, Klaus’ questions lead him to his diabolical former protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), a charismatic vampire with total control over the human and supernatural inhabitants of the city. Determined to help his brother Klaus find redemption, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) follows Klaus and is soon forced to side with Marcel’s enemies. Meanwhile, Klaus and Elijah’s sister, Rebekah (Claire Holt), must decide if she’ll join her brothers in New Orleans and help them to reclaim their hometown and all its extraordinary offerings. Blood, gore, action, & our favorite/sexy original familyDefinitely a breath of fresh air in this show. Though I am still an avid TVD viewer, I've grown weary of all the teenage drama. This spin off from TVD is more adult/mature and action packed, I thoroughly enjoy what it has to offer especially since its centralized around the Original Family rather than some teenage romance. It has a lot of cliff hangers and plot twists just like TVD and I really like the flashback scenes. You really start to connect with the characters when you see their pasts and struggles throughout the show (I just about balled my eyes out on the last episode with Klaus and Rebekah). I just hope the next season allows maybe a cross over from TVD like they did with Tyler (*hint*hint Caroline). But all in all, it's a great show!.Score: 5/5

MORE KLAUS FTWDefinitely glad they expounding on Klaus' past. Wish they had a buy a season pass option because the waiting for the ep to come out is aggravating. But yes I'd recommend this show to anyone whose new to it. As a man I can't stand lovey dovey crap but this show is a perfect balance of action and romance/drama so its not horrible like twilight and it has enough action to make you feel like you're watching a movie..Score: 5/5
