WittyThat is the best word to describe the dialogue in this TV series. There are way too many crime and cop shows on tv, but what makes this one different is the writing. The witty banter and quick quips between Castle and Beckett give the show spice and freshness. It's thoroughly entertaining. I highly recommend this for anyone who ever appreciated a good mystery, a quick tongue, and a bit of sexual tension..Score: 5/5

NATHAN FILLION!!!!Nathan Fillion is definetely one of the best actors out there. Not only can he pull off a character like Richard Castle but also Malcolm Reynolds (Firefly) and Captain Hammer (Dr. Horrible) which are both on iTunes. Castle is definetely one of the best crime shows ever because it not only gives so many twists but can make you laugh out loud also. One of the best new showsThis show is amazing!!!! I love who they cast to play each role and Castle and Beckett are such a good pairing. The stroy lines in each episode are catchy but not predictable. Also the writing is quick and witty. Castle and his daughter also have a cute father-daughter relationship that is real and not forced. I am so happy that they gave detectives Espizido and Ryan more of a prominant role in the show becuase they are great characters. I love this show and look forward the the second season! Great Job ABC on coming up with a funny entertaing and witty cop show!!.Score: 5/5

A must-see for Firefly or Nathan Fillion fansThis a light hearted crime drama with the following premise: a mystery writer uses his political influence to tag along a homicide detective and assist with investigations. Though the premise is unlikely, the show works thanks to Nathan Fillion's charm and wit combined with Stana Katic's grace and presence. The chemistry between the two characters may be just a tad contrived, but it is palpable and entertaining to watch week after week. Worth watchingGreat chemistry between the leads, Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic, and solid storytelling make this show a winner. I was hooked from the first episode, and every week the stories are interesting and at times funny as well, largely thanks to Fillion but also Katic who has a great sense of irony. Knows what it is and does a great job.This is one of my favourite new series. Before I saw the first episode I really wasn't sure about it. After being nagged into watching it I was totally hooked. An oddball team up that tackles serious crimes but at the same time doesn't take itself too serious. Nathan Fillion does a fantastic job playing a whimsical playboy and a loving father at the same time. I can't recommend it enough. Five stars..Score: 5/5

Nathan Fillion on top formGood to see this actor back on our screens - and with the same wit and self assurance that we saw on Firefly! Mal Reynolds comes to New York! Romantic, funny and smartA bad boy author teams up with a no-nonsense detective to solve crime. What could go wrong? By far one of the best police procedural shows I've encountered. The writing for the mysteries is amazing. You will not see some of the twists in the cases coming. I love Castle and Beckett so much and the chemistry/banter between them is so funny and engaging. It is a show that manages to balance two very different genres together in one show. An entertaining weekend binge. The only criticism I have about this show is that the other detectives at the NYPD are some of the most heavily unappreciated and under-developed characters I've ever encountered. They seem like pretty interesting characters and I hope future seasons give them more purpose. 9/10.Score: 4/5
