A TRUE MASTERPIECE.This show is amazing. when i heard they were planning to put it in the modern world, i was apprehensive to say the least, especially since i'm a jeremy brett fan as well. but after watching this show i realized THEY GOT IT RIGHT. jeremy brett wasn't quirky enough, downey wasn't smart enough... since i've read the books as well i feel justified in saying this. but cumberbatch and freeman- forget that, everyone on the show- are amazing and truly perfect actors, which is a rare thing these days. amazing acting. amazing actors. amazing mysteries.
