DisappointingI really was excited to see this film, and Katee Sackhoff from Battlestar gave me hope it would be a fun and exciting film. Unfortunately, the special effects resembled more of a high school attempt at a sci fi film that I actually found them distracting. The AI and conspiracy plot was ripped from much better films such as 2001 A Space Odyssey and even resembled plotlines from Outland and others. In the end, I was left wondering why I wasted two hours on the film and extremely disappointed in both the writing and Katee Sackhoff..Score: 1/5
Don’t waste your moneyReminds me of a bad “B” movie from the 80s, the whole movie was pretty much shot in one room and shows the same pictures over and over again. Really slow and boring and story was terrible... very unoriginal... felt like someone took some of terminator, a bunch of mars movies, the day the earth stood still and mixed all these movies together to make a weird, terrible offspring. They tried to save by using Katie but it is still terrible..Score: 1/5

Wow! Scary!Scary! Some of the themes are familiar, but presented in a novel way, or explored more deeply along with their implications.🧐 For instance, the familiar issues attached to Simulation Hypothesis, Sentience/AI, and species longevity are reset or extended via a different dramatic interface..Score: 5/5

Interesting "download."I have to start with saying, loud and clear, that there is an agreed-upon synopsis on all art that doesn't agree with "them" that they all pile on and call it derivative, incapable of expressing itself. Much as they do to Autistic people! A way to save the human race, rather than betray it. Apparently "they" would rather us betray them. In order to save them? That's not what this movie says; that would've been boring. Especially if it was for a cloned copy of a dyed blonde. It advances on all previous "failures" of art. By continuing the same lines of thinking in a new way, you're creating a new film. A new piece of art, especially with all the... fairly inexpensive but very pretty, interesting special effects! So, I guess, they needed this to be Terminator, all over again. Advocacy for murder and greed. Drones! And another failed plotline with no genuine romance (although the first one had some of that, as did that TV series... BSG? Sometimes. Summer Glau was great.) Instead, it's talking about a more original concept. Which doesn't make it derivative! I'm sorry, that makes zero sense. I've always been impressed with Katee's acting. A little bit stiff in this movie, but it works for the character! It wasn't a very demanding role. She doesn't play a more demanding role than the first one she was given, in BSG. Other actresses do the same thing, after their first stellar performance and excellent reviews. I think they need better directors, perhaps? Or a culture that understands aging, and not just weird teenager complexes..Score: 4/5
Good science fiction movie.The origin story of The Borg! (maybe?) If you like scifi you will enjoy this movie. Movie buffs will appreciate how they put it all together with three or four actors and one small set. Kate Sackhoff fans will not be dissapointed..Score: 4/5
You've seen this movie.An incredibly derivative movie that borrows so heavily from other, better films that it had me thinking about all the other films I'd rather be watching. There isn't a single original idea in this movie from start to finish. I called it's big reveal in the first 25 minutes, it telegraphed it so heavily and was so lazy about it that I wasn't even disappointed when it proved me right... I was just bored. Do yourself a favor and think of your favorite movie about AI... go watch that instead. Boom I saved you 12 dollars and 90 meandering minutes..Score: 2/5
