I tried…I tried to enjoy it, and while it had moments of good, the bad far outweighed them. Even some brilliance from Mr. Raimi couldn’t save this poorly written script and complete destruction of The High Evolutionaries mythos. Ruined one of my fav Marvel charactersThe writers in the good ol’ Marvel factory need a tune up - this script was awful and whoever wrote the film needs to be fired. Phase four has been a mess and MoM doesn’t buck the trend. The only thing that saved it was an incredible performance by a lead actor, despite the crap of a script they had to work with. What a mess…Feels like the movie has multiple scripts. No identity. Multiverse is finally showing its flaws and how little I care. The acting is fine at best but pretty terrible across the board. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some really cool and sorta emotional scenes… but it’s wrapped in terrible CGI, really over the top corny dialogue and just flat out bad plot choices. The horror elements were some of the strongest parts but simply not enough. I loved the first DS movie. This was awful. Quite frankly, this didn’t need to be a DS movie. Scarlet Witch and the Multiverse of Madness, that’s what this should been with DS part of it. Worth watching (not buying) for context and some cool MCU stuff..Score: 2/5
