TerribleI'm a huge fan of the movie dogtown and zboys, so I had high hopes for this movie that crashed down to earth.
The skating scenes were a joke based on the time frame and equipment. they showed them jumping off roofs, jumping, etc, supposedly with clay wheels before the advent of urethane. No freaking way!
There are many other examples where it strays too far from reality, and that was a big let down as the story in dog town and zboys was interesting enough that it didn't need embellishing with silly made up sub plots.
Anyway, if you are expecting a reenactment of the story told in dog town and zboys, you will be disappointed..That’s a TreeScore: 1/5
Great movieI'm a very HUGE fan of this and Dogtown & z boys, I saw this with my dad when I was about 8, and at that time, it changed my look on skateboarding. Because of this movie, I took up old school, skateboarding and surfing.
