On the streets of New York City, police officer John McClane (Bruce Willis) has just about seen it all. He's got a nose for danger, a penchant for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and a talent for overcoming incredible odds. But this time, danger is looking for him. Seeking a very personal and mysterious revenge against McClane, a malevolent genius named Simon (Jeremy Irons) is forcing the heroic cop to play a deadly game. The stakes: New York City itself. The game begins when a phone call from Simon sends McClane to Harlem, where he unexpectedly forms an alliance with the very unwilling Zeus Carver (Samuel L. Jackson). McClane and Zeus soon find themselves careening across the Big Apple, pursuing the deadly Simon, who's always one step ahead of them.

Only for the Die-hard "Die Hard" fansI can't say that this movie was perfect and that it lived up to my expectations, but it was a good movie. It was okay on a critic's level, but on a die hard fanboy level it was reach rock bottom.
If for anything, this comes out as "under-done" movie that had way too many twists & turns and it got too farfetched during points... but... come on, it's a Die hard movie, anything will happen in a Die Hard flick.
If you could describe this movie, it's a situation, after situation, after situation that just strings together to make a movie, I can recall all the events from Die Hard 1 and 2 without loosing track, but this one, the events change way too many times, I think I'm watching a sort of treasure hunt movie.
And you know what? That's what your watching.
The movie is set up so that John McClane has to solve riddles or a bomber will set off more bombs, get one wrong, and BOOM! The place blows up.
So, they're setting it up to a point where it's just a scene after scene of solving puzzles. It gets annoying, and not many Die Hard Fans know this... it's boring!
You can sit there and look me in the eye, and tell me it's good, you can tell me it's great, but you're not gonna call it perfect.
This is far from the die hard formula, and it doesn't work well with the characters. Luckily, this is the only one in the series that does that. I guess it was an experiment to see how crowds react to a different John McClane.
I would say "See it on TV" but the TV edits it so badly and so horrificly, it's even more of a blobfest, and it would go down on my standards as a "Don't see it" but since you have it right here on iTunes, I'm just gonna say, Rent it.
