Very impressive!An excellent hard-nosed gritty film...I wasn't expecting it to be this good! Well written and acted. Great story. Obviously, a film about international terrorism is going to show some violence, and this film does that but not in an inappropriate way. I'm not sure I took a breath during the last 20 min. Metaphor for IraqThe SFX team and the inferno team the sound effects team are terrific, the editing superb. The actors are solid. This film has the stealth and moves of a cobra. It’s great entertainment with a subversive message. As a metaphor for Iraq it excels. There is the urge to avenge the murdered and then the arrogance and deception that gets the team into “The Kingdom.” There is the pure chauvinism of righteousness and the sense of exceptionality that pervades the thinking of the super power team. Then there is the disrespect for another culture and the continual mocking and insult of a foreign people. Adam, for one, reeks of this arrogance. Then there is the coming face to face with the horror of the enemy and the horror of war’s inhumanity on all sides---the useless loss, the degradation of humanity. Finally, there is the invasion of darkness into the hearts of the warriors, the near decimation of any sense of hope or faith in the value of the engagement. This film is a worthy attempt to show how pure hubris on all sides gins the game into oblivion, escorts humanity into hell. It is a wonder that it got made. Don't miss it..JanjammScore: 4/5

$4.99 is a steal for this film.I couldn't recall ever hearing about this movie. But Jamie Foxx is one of my favorite actors on top of that iTunes had this movie on sale for $4.99. The movie dealt with a topic that is very current. And the thing I like about it was that it didn't attempt to demonize the Muslim culture. I think this was best exemplified during a scene of the film where they showed people praying as to show that not every Muslim is an extremist as unfortunately some Americans see them as. But overall the highlight of the film for me was the ending. Where you see that both sides were both working on similar motives, and that perhaps war is not the best way of achieving what needs to be done..JoejpaigeScore: 5/5

Very DecentI think this particular movie is crafted very well. The drama and suspense hold and carry the scenes very well towards the action and the emotional level of the actors and story-line tie it all together. The choice of cast is great, as it really brings up the bar on the character bonds. It is also a film that carries a deeper meaning aside than the usual Hollywood flick.
