LOVE BSGI started out watching BSG with my husband, but I was hooked. I have now watched from season one to the finale. The acting is first rate, the characters can be loved and hated. Cylons are evil and dangerous, but beautiful ( Yes that is you 6). Kara Tharace..... Starbuck is one of the most empowered women on the television today. No weak females in this series and really drop the word frack in conversation, see who else is on the BSG ride with you!! Watch it, fall in love with it and see how it ends, you will be surprised by the twists and turns aboard BSG..Score: 5/5

Should also join the membership for the Battlestar Galactica and Heat reviews. If u want to hear the most interesting, try the Prometheus review. Best TV series in my lifetimeWithout a single doubt, best TV series made in my lifetime. So much more than a sci-fi as people think...more of a drama that explores humanity, religion, and the human ocndition...not to get to heavy here...just watch the mini-series and first few episodes and you will more than agree! Frakking Awesome!I have watched this show about 4 times now if not more, I have met a bunch of the cast at cons and I still love it. There is nothing else out there that can replace it for me. The layers of interactions, the ethical dilemmas and though provoking nature of the plot will hook you! fabulously acted and written. If you haven't watched this show, do yourself a favour and do it. Once you get used to why and how they use Frak, and get past it you'll really love it!.Score: 5/5
Mini-series came first!Ok I see reviews giving a low rating because it makes no sense in the beginning and thinking they missed some episodes. You did. This started as a mini-series which was then made into a proper series starting with season 1. The mini-series introduces everything and makes it make waaay more sense. Look aroundDont get me round i love itunes and they have do a very good job with online downloading but people you should really shop around. on play you can get season 1-4 (not the second part of 4 ) for Ā£32.99 thats 60+ episodes just shop around people.Score: 1/5
Watch this season...it is all downhill from here!Season 1 is great. Great plots, wonderful themes and some very good acting. Unfortunately, I suspect the analogies and "messaging" are a bit too sophisticated for the average American viewer--a frequent problem when productions use a combination of British and American writers, producers and actors. The writers and producers may think this show is a wonderful commentary on America's War on Terror and the debasement of civil liberties in the quest to "preserve society", but I wonder how many people have picked up on that. One other reason to watch Season 1--it is all downhill from here. After Season 1, the series degenerates into a soap opera. Indeed, if I had stopped after Season 1 I might have agreed that BSG was one of the greatest TV shows ever produced. Sadly, Seasons 2, 3 and 4 transformed it into another show made for a fringe network with a viewership smaller than Judge Judy..Score: 4/5

Best In ClassDon't let the spaceships or the camp original get to you, Battlestar Galactica could quite possibly be one of the best dramas ever made ever. Manages to be topical, interesting and realistic, even if it deals in science fiction and some fantastical themes throughout. Some people felt the later episodes lost focus, but hang in to the end and it'll be worth it and some of the most rewarding tv around. Such a great story. I skipped the mini series and just started with episode 1, 33. I learnt the characters and themes through the show, and only went back to the mini series as a filler after series 2. Recommend that, the mini series isn't a great introduction, ironically..Score: 5/5
