PriceyThe office is hilarious, but its to pricey. I saw this season at costco and it was pretty cheap about 18 bucks, but I wanted to buy it on the itunes store to watch it on my Ipod. then I found out about the price. Great, but beware of later seasons...If you are not familiar with NBC's "The Office," buy this season -- not another season, THIS SEASON -- and prepare to enjoy one of the funniest situational comedies of all time. Then, prepare to be disappointed when you make your way to later seasons, which are marred by needlessly outlandish plots, caricatured versions of the formerly lovable characters, and self-indulgent nonsense. This show was brilliant in its first two seasons (the first of which was very short), but despite the continued devotion of its fans, it totally lost its way in season three. I highly recommend that you get your hands on this brilliant collection of episodes, but don't be surprised when the laughs don't come as often and aren't as hearty in the next season: I warned you..Score: 5/5

PricingThere has to be something that I do not understand about the fees associated with distributing content online. I mean, I'm using my own drive space to store. That means I am paying for the medium. There is no packaging. There is no distribution. There is no media for the manufacturer to pay for. The only cost is outbound bandwidth. I'm paying for my own connectivity. (That in itself I suppose resembles a person driving to a store and buying a season). $35 for Season 2? I mean, c'mon - the show does rock, but this season is old? I know it might seem benign, but 5$ cheaper, I could actually swallow. Pursuant with your current pricing structure, $29.99 However, I would figure $24.99 would be a better price point. When you buy a DVD in a shop there are numerous costs along the way - mastering the DVD, pressing it, producing the inserts and getting them printed, the costs of getting them to the shops. All this before you put it in your DVD player - iTunes delivery has none of these costs, yet the DVD remains significantly cheaper (and has extras).
