The end is here and what a ride it was!!!This season doesn't seem like it would be great after a slower 3rd season, but it is as good if not better than the 1st season, but starts right where the 3rd leaves off and gets very very very dark, and the ride doesn't stop all the way to the very end! The only thing I was missing closer to the end was more action with Lee and Kara in vipers, but there is enough drama and action to easily forget it. The episodes not to miss are; He That Believeth in Me (which is kinda a 2parter with Six of One), The Ties That Bind, Revelations, Sometimes a Great Notion, The Oath, Blood on the Scales, Someone to Watch Over Me, and Daybreak 1,2,3! I only wished that Daybreak was even longer for part 2, you'll know what I mean when you see it. Anyway enjoy, it is the end of something great!!!!.Score: 5/5
Possible the best show ever madeThe earlier seasons were the best in my opinion, but this show really has no equal. Really changed standards for scifi as a whole, I had high expectations when watching any scifi before but after this show most scifi television seems goofy and juvenile. BSG as a show did for tv what the Matrix or Avatar did for movies, completely raised the bar for revolutionary special effects, drama and overall writing quality. I cannot even describe how sad I was to see this show end. Replaced with shows like Sanctuary and warehouse 13 on syfy, its just a tragedy..Score: 5/5

Started out greatThe first two seasons of this show are amazing, and when the third season rolled around it started to lose some of its quality. But the fourth season is some of the worst plot development I have ever seen in a tv show. Multiple plot threads are never explained, and the fact that (Spoiler Alert) "All Along The Watchtower" is a critical part of the plot after the second half of the season is ridiculous. As far as I'm concerned, the show ended after season 3. Don't waste your time or money on this load of crap..Score: 2/5
Awesome. Truly.I just love this series. Believable effects, epic storylines, great characters, the whole lot. One thing about BSG that I like most of all, is that you could take most of the sci fi out of this, and it would still be a pretty darn good show!.Score: 5/5

Wow...Didn't give this show a chance when it was airing...in fact, not really into television shows until after they're done. happened with family guy (before they got picked up for season 4), firefly, jericho, and now battlestar galactica. Seeing that Caprica is a prequel to Battlestar, it peaked my interest in Galactica so after watching the first few episodes of Caprica, i downloaded the mini series of BSG...yep, after that, i was hooked. 2 weeks later, i got all 4 seasons watched and you know what? i enjoyed EVERY minute of that show. i wish they could do more with it...but you know, it was one fraking good time and i want to thank those people for giving us one hell of a ride to watch. 5 big fraking stars..Score: 5/5
A Monumental finish to a monumental showThe end of this show is as, if not more, epic and eventful than the beginning. For years this show has been loved by millions and there's a reason for that. It's stunning graphics, acting, and story line make it more than unique. I won't be a spoiler, but the season finale is the best part of the season, and if you get it, you'll know why. I'd recommend standard if you want to buy the full season, but if you just want the really stand-out and amazing episodes of the season, 3 dollars will get you those at an amazing-er quality..Score: 5/5
End of a great show, iTunes/Universal disrespect fansWhile then ending wasn't perfect, it was a gracious character study along with excellent special effects (red striped cylons and all) and most loose ends were wrapped up. Whatever was lacking certainly is dismissed when you look at the mostly high grades from start to finish from mini-series to series. Battlestar Galactica has elevated the quality of drama and scifi genres alike. What is disappointing is the disrespect to fans by breaking up Daybreak Part 2 into 2 segments. Original ending was scripted for 4 hours, reduced to 3 then broken into 2 parts of 1 hour and 2 hour 11 minutes (all less commercials). When you watch parts 2 and 3 from iTunes there is a credit roll, BSG intro and cast roll non-existent on the 2 hour 11 minute broadcast. If they want to charge more money, whatever, but give us the cohesive part 2 as aired. Don't manufacture what wasn't there to start with. NOTE: Occupation/Precipice and Lay Down Your Burdens Part 2 were both 2 hours (less commercials) and priced at 1 episode...and not broken apart as should Daybreak Part 2..Score: 5/5

A Great Show. Gutted in its Final SeasonLike many shows with an overarching story arc, Battlestar Galactica tied itself up in plot knots over time. In this case, the writers decided to cut through the knots rather than unravel them. By the time it’s over, major characters are suddenly and inexplicably revealed to be cylons, angels, and ghosts, and what appeared to be great and heroic victories in earlier episodes turned out to be nothing more than the unfolding of a divine plan. The result was, for many, many of the show’s admirers something not merely unsatisfying but more akin to betrayal: Ron Moore promised “naturalistic” science fiction, but ended up delivering us a (literally) Deus Ex Machina conclusion preachier than Sunday morning television. Most incredibly of all, Moore built this season (and one episode of the last) around a song by Bob Dylan. I can hardly believe those words as I write them, but it actually happened. The best episodes of Season Four concerned a mutiny in the fleet led by a junior officer sick of it all. Many questions will be answered...Well, we are at season four and the last few years of battlestar galactica have been somewhat astounding. The issues that have been raised: faith, ethics, incredibly difficult decisions and stress make the journey of the last of twelve colonies to find earth a secular counterpar to the biblical Exodus. Season four starts by giving us a long awaited answer - the supposed identity of the fifth cylon but with it more questions? What is the deal with Kara Thrace? Why did Dee do it? Arghhh! I have to say, the second episode was a real disapointment with characters schlepping around feeling sorry for themselves and no real forwarding of plot. However, given that they have spent four years searching for earth and found something different to what they expected, I can understand that we might need this transitional filler to get to the action again when things start to fall apart. All in all, I thoroughly reccomend BSG but I advise caution for adult content. You also really need to watch from the start, it's not something you can pick up in season 4....Score: 4/5
