Fry-Leela Romance?I was really happy when I heard that there was going to be a new season of Futurama on comedy central. While the episodes have been good I feel like something is missing. Also, what happened to Fry being obsessed with Leela and really stupid/ lazy? When Fry becomes a police officer he is a good shot and stays late to solve cases. Basically I want Fry to be dumb again, that's what makes him such a great character. Other than that it is a great show and I am probably overanalyzing the plot. I'm sure Mark will continue to make hilarious episodes..Score: 4/5
Season Gr-8-t!Zoidberg vs. Clamps dueling? Awesome. The Futurama crew have really found their stride in Season 8. Solid writing and great character development - even after 7 seasons - combined with an amazing attention to detail - I have had to watch some of the recent episodes twice just to catch everything - translate to one helluva good start to Season 8. Bad FaithSplitting a season in two and selling as each half was a full season was a sad attitude. Futurama and iTunes should be about TRULY GOOD entertainment products, but this strategy really maculates the credibility of'em both. I am very, very disappointed. Cry BabiesTo all of you sniveling betties that are complaining about the 'short' seasons, this is for you: Grow the frak up! You're getting an awesome show for a couple bucks an episode. If $2.99 is too much for an HD video (oh no! How will you pay rent on your crummy basement apartment you rent from your redneck uncle?), download the standard definition. How big are you really playing it anyway? And how much resolution do you need on a CARTOON? I submit that if it's really sooooo bad, then get cable and record the show. Otherwise, shut yer yaps and be grateful that the show came back in the first place! Throwing a fit on iTunes over a few dollars is pathetic, and worse, cheap..Score: 5/5
