Walternate!Fringe is the best show on television right now! I absolutely love the characters, but John Noble's Walter Bishop/Walternate is absolutely awesome. I love the mythology that this show has to offer. J.J. Abrams does a fantastic of throwing a curve ball on a seemingly normal world show. WHY DID I RESIST THIS SHOW FOR THREE SEASONS!Whenever I saw bits or pieces of this show on tv, it left me uninspired and cold. I'm as bad as tv or movie execs who expect shows to explain themselves immediately... in a single five word quote. I wasn't sure if I really like this show after two episodes... by end of the fouth, I am hooked and just hope they can sustain "the pattern." The strange "fringe' science is less important to me than the motivations of the characters. Are the betrayals really betrayals? Is loyalty just a sham? Are past actions a sign of what a person will do in the future? Will past actions help or hinder? Another thing: the main character is played by Anna Torv. In clips of the show, I thought she seemed rather limp. She wasn't instantly appealing to me. She doesn't use glamour, flashy acting, or star charisma to seduce you. Sadly another reason I probably didn't latch onto this show immediately. But by episode four, she anchors the show with an integrity I need amid all the conspiracies of the plot and the uncertain behavior of every other character. She' great. Hooked!I found out about this series a couple of months ago. I'm totally hooked on it! I love the theme, but I could be biased since I'm a science major. John Noble (Walter) is my favorite character. The fourth season premieres on Sept. 23 and I can't wait..Score: 5/5

WOWI was lucky enough to catch this TV show from the beginning to end and have been waiting restlessly for it to come out on iTunes, so thank-you iTunes! This show is really worth watching if you are into the sci-fi type of stuff. It has great suspense, action and thrills and has lots of suprises. It really does keep you guessing! Be sure to watch them in order though, because if you miss one episode sometimes another won't make sense. It is great fun watching the experiences of Olivia Dunham (Anna Torve). Check out some of the fan websites for additional info and secrets. I can't wait for season two. Entertaining, but terrible "science"The show is pretty entertaining, worth a watch, but really....some of the worst "science" ever. Most of the explanations for the crazy stuff that goes on are difficult to take seriously, and it's tough for the viewer to stay immersed in the show. It requires a pretty big willing suspension of disbelief, so just turn off your brain, forget everything you learned in science class, and enjoy an average (but not terrible) Sci-Fi..Score: 3/5

BoilerplateOof, what a bust. Plot from the mind (and attention span) of a 12-yr-old; script without wit or wisdom; wooden characters; and bad acting. The only bright spot was Joshua Jackson (as Peter)...poor guy, he's a good actor caught in a weak cast. Ok, there was one other funny thing: how clearly 'Harvard' was actually the University of Toronto. "Everything tells me I've got to get out of Boston," says Peter, just as the camera pans past the CN Tower! :-o.Score: 1/5
Incredible ShowFringe is one of the best shows on TV. The cast members work very well together and the special effects are great. Great Show Season 4 Missing - fix this pleaseThis is a top class show, regrettably I purchased all the seasons before realising season 4 of this incredible show was missing. Don't purchase this show until season 4 is included it will only drive you mad, I have purchased season five and I can't watch it without seeing season 4. Congrats to iTunes for getting the show, it's been a long wait. But the package is incomplete. iTunes is asking us - to borrow an analogy that fits to Watch 2 weeks of Wimbledon until the Quarter Finals skip the semi-finals and watch the Final. I am disappointed that a 5 star show is getting anything but star treatment. Please rectify this crazy mad scenario..Score: 5/5
ExcellentBrilliant show, great and interesting (and dare I say it, quite original) characters who are complicated and have complicated but meaningful relationships with one another. The story is really intriguing and well researched.
