It's a good rebootTerminator has always been a story about timelines and a war to controll them. Having seen all of the movies as well as "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" I believe this is a continuation of a theme rather than a complete reboot. The lack of new terminator models but the improved ability to combat them with time to plan and think being "raised" by a terminator all made perfect sense. The John Conner bit and "upgrade" at the end seemed like transparent plot devices to make something "interesting" but overall I think this reboot makes more sense than most and stays true to the original storyline..Blackbird013Score: 4/5

I really enjoyed this!Not sure why all the bad reviews?!?!? There were a few minion things I wish were different, but on the whole I really really this movie. Brought me back to my childhood but made it different and set the stage for so many questions and possibilities.

And I really loved Matt Smith's character, just wish we got more of him!!
I liked how they used Arnold's age difference and really thought it added to the emotion and admiration the viewer has for the characters.
