With the League of Assassins knowing where the SoulTaker Sword is, but unable to get Katana to return it, they decide their only course of action is to kidnap Bruce Wayne and hold him for ransom – that ransom being the sword. Of course, they don't realize that Bruce Wayne is actually Batman! When Katana shows up to turn over the sword and rescue Wayne, Alfred causes a diversion, allowing Wayne to don the Batman suit and join the battle. Teaming with Katana to end the League, Batman finds himself in an all-out ninja fight that ends with a startling revelation..

Great showI don't know why everyone hates this show; The CGI is a first for Batman TV shows yes but it works, I like the look of everyone (except Alfred), another complaint I hear is the lack of memorable villains, but their are some foes we've seen, like Ra's Al Ghual, and villains who are getting more well known like Anarky, and I actually like some of the new villains like Magpie, Pig, and Toad, maybe for the second season we'll see more familiar faces, but for now I have no complaints for the shows rouges gallery, and as for Katana, she's actually not a new character for the show, she was in the comics and it's happy to see her first leap onto the small screen. All in all, give it a shot, voice acting is good, CGI is good, story and humor is good, and the villains are good. It's no TAS but it's still a great show..Score: 5/5

A Promising New VisionDespite fans' fears, this new vision of the Dark Knight is turning out to be a creative and well conceived new adventure. The emphasis on character and detective ability sets it apart, while everything else remains top notch. A must see..Score: 5/5

Beware!Obviously nothing will every compare to Batman: The Animated Series. That is the DEFINITIVE Batman to me. With that in mind, I am always open to a new quality Batman show! Having seen the first episode of Beware the Batman, I can say that I'm very interested in seeing more and I think this will be a nice refreshing take on the Batman world. The most noticeable change to past shows is the use of CGI animation. The first episode did not have much going on in the background - it felt weird to see an empty Gotham City at night. I think this is something that will improve over time just as Green Lantern: TAS did. Another change in this show is the use of more obscure villains. One of the greatest things about Batman is his amazing rogues gallery. No other comic book character has such a wide range of interesting and story filled villains. While I'm sure many will be asking where the Joker or Two Face is, I think it's refreshing to see some of the more unknown baddies such as Professor Pyg and the Toad. Who knows…. maybe they will bring in some of the A-Listers later on. Some other significant changes include Alfred's role in the show which is a little different than usual. There is more focus on his MI6 past and he is more involved in Bruce's training and fighting regiment. Though we haven't seen much of her yet, Katana will also play a major role in the show fighting alongside Bruce. Overall, the atmosphere of the show seems to be leaning toward the darker, more serious tone of B:TAS, which is great. Warner Bros. has been putting out quality DC animation for years, be it through their direct to video movies or animated TV series, and this show is no exception! There may be some aspects that will take some getting used to but I think we are in for another terrific Batman show!.Score: 5/5
Flipping Great Take On Batman For All To Enjoy!!:)This series really delivers so much that comes in a good show these days, featuring slick CGI animation, stellar voice cast, epic action sequences, impressive music, extraordinary characters, remarkable tone, and pure greatness. This is turning out to be a true-to-the-word spectacular show for Batman fans old and new and even becoming one of the best shows ever! Rather GoodThe third episode left me wanting an Anarchky closer to the comics, garbed in red and gold with the hat, but the first two episodes were outstanding. I can't wait to see what's next. Or when they eventually get to more Outsiders related stuff as they already seeded Stag & Katanna is a main player in the show. Can't wait for their rendition of our old favorite villains (which will come down the line despite the focus on unknowns to freshen the rogue gallery at the moment.) It'd be nice if they'd focus a season at a time to a different JLA member in this CGI style: GL first then Bats . . . WW or Flash next?.Score: 4/5

So Far, Nothing SpecialSo, Batman is learning from Alred, who was once an agent at MI6, and he has to go up against a pig and a frog who are working together to harm Gotham City? Yeah, right. Like I'm going to take that seriously. It's supposed to be a dark show, but how can it be "dark" when you got some annoying frog having these super-powered ribbits (which looked like burps)? That's just ridiculous. The creators wanted to use new villains. So, that means that they will not put Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, or any memorable bad guy into the first season (which could sadly be the only one depending if this fails). That was a bad decision. The reason why these "new" villains have not been given enough depth in the past is probably because, I don't know, most of them stunk? If Professor Pyg is really that cool, I'm not seeing it so far. Also, I've seen better CGI. This is the worst. I swear. DC should either stick with their hand drawn animation, or come up with a different style for CGI to look better. First Green Lantern, now this. Besides, I doubt any kid knows this exists. Seriously. DC has lost their mojo. It all started with Man of Steel, and now it is this. Depressing. My advice - watch Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It keeps the old but brings some new in an enjoyable and pleasing way..Score: 2/5
