With the true identity of Bad Batman revealed, Batman continues to work in secret to find answers while the world believes Bruce Wayne to be dead. Meanwhile, Harvey Dent recovers in Gotham Hospital – badly burned after his own encounter with Bad Batman. Cool new take on a classicI thought this was a promising debut. There have been so many different takes on Batman and I like some of the changes they presented here. The animation is slick and dark. The action was cool. The story was interesting and I loved the detective work. It had villains I haven't seen before (in animation) and I'm looking forward to see where this new series goes..Score: 4/5

Next in line after Batman TASNow, I'm a huge fan of Batman the Animated Series and almost everything Bruce Timm has produced for DC Universe Animated. So, as you would expect I was very skeptical about this new series since he (Bruce Timm) wasn't involved. But since I'm a huge Batman fan I gave it a chance, and oh boy I haven't been let down at all. Now, don't get me wrong. There were some jagged pills to swallow, but I decided to approach it with an open mind and see how they made these new approaches work. Let's just say I've quickly learned to love it all and think this universe in someways could be argued as better and more believable and dare I say relatable. In summary, this Batman series stands up on its own and might just be the best animated Batman since Batman the Animated Series..Score: 5/5
Beware!Obviously nothing will every compare to Batman: The Animated Series. That is the DEFINITIVE Batman to me. With that in mind, I am always open to a new quality Batman show! Having seen the first episode of Beware the Batman, I can say that I'm very interested in seeing more and I think this will be a nice refreshing take on the Batman world. The most noticeable change to past shows is the use of CGI animation. The first episode did not have much going on in the background - it felt weird to see an empty Gotham City at night. I think this is something that will improve over time just as Green Lantern: TAS did. Another change in this show is the use of more obscure villains. One of the greatest things about Batman is his amazing rogues gallery. No other comic book character has such a wide range of interesting and story filled villains. While I'm sure many will be asking where the Joker or Two Face is, I think it's refreshing to see some of the more unknown baddies such as Professor Pyg and the Toad. Who knows…. maybe they will bring in some of the A-Listers later on. Some other significant changes include Alfred's role in the show which is a little different than usual. There is more focus on his MI6 past and he is more involved in Bruce's training and fighting regiment. Though we haven't seen much of her yet, Katana will also play a major role in the show fighting alongside Bruce. Overall, the atmosphere of the show seems to be leaning toward the darker, more serious tone of B:TAS, which is great. Warner Bros. has been putting out quality DC animation for years, be it through their direct to video movies or animated TV series, and this show is no exception! There may be some aspects that will take some getting used to but I think we are in for another terrific Batman show!.Score: 5/5
All in all well done.Very sorry there won’t be a 2nd season or more..Score: 5/5
Good narratives involving toned-down villains of a darker era….One only has to look to many of the modern graphic novels/narratives of the Dark Knight to know how much tamer the lesser-known gallery of villains had to be made to make this show viewable to a wider audience (e.g. Grant Morrison's Professor Pyg and Mr. Toad). This, however, does not ruin the narrative effect of the characters however, and the interwoven stories are told effectively, yet succinctly. If the writers of the show can continue to build on the foundation they've set from even only these first 7 episodes, this show could possibly become something of a nice complement for the first time in a long while to the classic Batman: TAS that we all remember so well, not without a bit of nostalgia..Score: 5/5
