The new mayor, Marion Grange (CCH POUNDER), has hired a new district attorney, Harvey Dent (CHRISTOPHER McDONALD), who wants to bring Batman to justice. When someone tries to kill Mayor Grange and kidnaps Harvey Dent, all fingers point to Batman (when in fact, he's being framed by his old nemesis Anarky). Now, it's up to Batman and Katana to clear Batman's name before someone dies for real..

Very enjoyable!A lot of people have been pretty harsh towards this series, stating that its just not as good as batman TAS, which I believe is an unfair judgement. I am a huge fan of Batman TAS and it is the best animated series ever in my opinion, but beware the batman really does have its shining moments and is a great new addition to the batman mythos. The CGI animation isn't my favorite style, but it does look really cool in some parts, such as the opening scene when batman sneaks through the shadows. The thing i really enjoy about this show is that batman uses a lot of his detective skills and thats always great to see. Overall its a fun show to watch and is a great new take on the dark knight detective!.Score: 4/5
Beware the Batman reviewExcellent show. I love the new take on batman. The CGI takes some getting used to, but it's a really great show. Love all the detective work. I love Alfred..Score: 5/5

So goodThis show is great!!!!! But batman is unbelievably skinny compared to the other batman animated tv shows, and batman is a little bit weaker than usual. But the show itself is pretty good..Score: 4/5
So Far, Nothing SpecialSo, Batman is learning from Alred, who was once an agent at MI6, and he has to go up against a pig and a frog who are working together to harm Gotham City? Yeah, right. Like I'm going to take that seriously. It's supposed to be a dark show, but how can it be "dark" when you got some annoying frog having these super-powered ribbits (which looked like burps)? That's just ridiculous. The creators wanted to use new villains. So, that means that they will not put Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, or any memorable bad guy into the first season (which could sadly be the only one depending if this fails). That was a bad decision. The reason why these "new" villains have not been given enough depth in the past is probably because, I don't know, most of them stunk? If Professor Pyg is really that cool, I'm not seeing it so far. Also, I've seen better CGI. This is the worst. I swear. DC should either stick with their hand drawn animation, or come up with a different style for CGI to look better. First Green Lantern, now this. Besides, I doubt any kid knows this exists. Seriously. DC has lost their mojo. It all started with Man of Steel, and now it is this. Depressing. My advice - watch Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It keeps the old but brings some new in an enjoyable and pleasing way..Score: 2/5
Good narratives involving toned-down villains of a darker era….One only has to look to many of the modern graphic novels/narratives of the Dark Knight to know how much tamer the lesser-known gallery of villains had to be made to make this show viewable to a wider audience (e.g. Grant Morrison's Professor Pyg and Mr. Toad). This, however, does not ruin the narrative effect of the characters however, and the interwoven stories are told effectively, yet succinctly. If the writers of the show can continue to build on the foundation they've set from even only these first 7 episodes, this show could possibly become something of a nice complement for the first time in a long while to the classic Batman: TAS that we all remember so well, not without a bit of nostalgia..Score: 5/5

Great series!!!Initially I felt this was going to be a disappointing version of Batman due to the CG but it has easily surpassed my expectations. The fight scenes are amazing and very fluid, Batman actually uses his detective skills in this series and the dialogue between the main characters is done nicely.
